Is Splinterlands Starting to Move in Tandem with the Market? – SPS Analysis [ES-EN]

Splinterlands is a game that has endured over the years—8 to be exact, and a little more—building a game and an ecosystem that eventually became a company, something we never would have imagined back in 2018, since the team at that time started a project just as many of us do, but it’s their perseverance that has allowed them to grow and endure even during the toughest times the cryptocurrency market has faced over the years. So, if we’re still here, it’s because we have something solid that’s hard to break.
But far from it—this bear market cycle has been nothing like the previous ones. What I mean is that it hasn’t been aggressive at all. Yes, the decline has been sharp, but not like in 2021, for example, or like the “Terra Luna” or “FTX” collapses; rather, it has gone unnoticed, in a business-as-usual sort of way, However, in the last 3 or 4 days, the market has exploded for various reasons I won’t go into here, since that’s a topic for another post, but this has spread to the Splinterlands community, which means that SPS has also reacted with an impressive rally from its all-time lows. So, what I want to do today is analyze this and see what the next price targets might be if the market continues on this path.
So, welcome to a new SPS analysis, where we'll look at some interesting facts, metrics, and price projections to see if the structure has changed, if this trend might continue, and many other details.
Fundamental Analysis of the SPS: What, Fundamentally, Has Caused the Upward Movement in the SPS?
Let's start with a very simple analysis, which involves a chart, but I won't go into technical details just yet. Instead, we'll look at dates and the intensity of the price increase, relating them to the updates the team released around those times. With this, I'll assess the impact to determine whether or not they had an effect. At the end, we'll look at the chart and the projections, as always.
As we can see in the image; and here’s an interesting fact I wanted to highlight: from May 31 of this year through June 30, the price fell by 40% in a much more aggressive decline, and during this rally that has been underway from July 17 through August 21, it has risen by practically the same percentage, but without recovering to the price levels seen back then. That doesn’t mean this is a bad thing, but it tells me that there needs to be a little more retail conviction on the bulls’ side, who right now hold the power—especially since the price structure has changed.
What updates were made from July 17 to August 21, 2026?
Glint Bombs: On the 14th, “Glint Bombs” were launched in Praetoria, a feature specific to land plots. It’s not that it’s particularly relevant to the economy, but lately, land has attracted a significant number of players and investors, so it shouldn’t be underestimated—it’s interesting, though.
The new “Frontier” cards and the 3rd Conflict card: These events were great—in fact, you can still get some of these cards, and they’re awesome. I’ve reviewed several of them, though I’m not quite done yet—the famous “The Arena Vanguard.” On the other hand, we have the release of the third Conflict card—something that does generate cash flow, since participating players repair their train cars, and some also buy booster packs and cards, which will likely drive up overall prices.
Visions of Verico and the 8th Anniversary: It was announced that these packs—which contain new cards that can only be used on land plots—would go on sale, a move that undoubtedly generated significant interest in participating so as not to be left out, mainly because I believe land is an important part of the Splinterlands ecosystem, not to mention that we’re all eagerly awaiting the long-awaited Phase 3. On the other hand, the arrival of two new promotional cards, “Tenrai” and “Suiko,” is also something that keeps the economy moving.
The End of "Escalation" Sales and the 4th Conflict Card: This is the last thing we’ll mention: the “Escalation” packs are sold out in the store, so there are no more left—you can only buy what other players choose to sell. And the release of the 4th card is also generating excitement and preparations.
IMPORTANT: This makes it clear that there have been many consecutive events, which may have been catalysts for the rise in the SPS, in addition to the market conditions we have experienced over the past 3 or 4 days.
Technical Analysis of SPS and Forecasts
This analysis will be quick and simple. As you can see in the image, the price has broken above the last downward move it made—marked very clearly with a red arrow— This means that, structurally speaking on the 4-hour chart, the SPS trend has shifted from bearish to bullish; buyers have taken control of the situation, and things may begin to change from here on out, as this is a very positive sign for the entire community—especially since this hasn’t happened in quite some time.
So, if—structurally speaking—we’ve already seen a change in trend, what’s the most likely projection? Well, let’s take a look at it below, although it’s more than clear in the image:
- Next move toward $0.0040: The next clear move could be toward $0.0040, as it has a clear path to that level, where it will likely encounter resistance—liquidity that acts as a “resistance” level to prevent it from continuing to rise— but this is where we need to be most vigilant, as it may form a continuation pattern after this pullback, and we’ll have to see how it behaves at those levels to determine whether it will continue rising or not.
Final Thoughts
So, the bottom line is that the outlook and the odds are in our favor. I don’t want to jump to conclusions and say that bright days are ahead for SPS and the Splinterlands community in terms of the performance of their most important asset, but we’re already seeing signs that the market is gaining significant momentum to continue. So, we’ll have to wait and see what happens next and keep a close eye on the price levels I mentioned.

Splinterlands es un juego que se ha mantenido a lo largo de los años, 8 para ser exactos y poco más, construyendo un juego y un ecosistema que al final se convirtió en una empresa, algo que en el 2018 no hubiéramos imaginado que pasaría, ya que el equipo en ese entonces inicio un proyecto como muchos de nosotros hacemos, pero es constancia los ha llevado a crecer y mantenerse incluso en los peores momento que han vivido las criptomonedas a lo largo de los años, por lo que, si seguimos aquí es porque tenemos algo solido difícil de romper.
Pero lejos de eso, este ciclo de mercado bajista no ha sido para nada igual que los anteriores, a lo que me refiero es que no ha sido para nada agresivo, si, la caída ha sido fuerte, pero no como en el 2021, por ejemplo, no como en el colapso de “Terra Luna o FTX”, sino que, ha pasado desapercibido, de forma normal, sin embargo, en los últimos 3 o 4 días el mercado ha explotado por diversas razones que no comentare aquí, ya que es otro tipo de publicación, pero esto ha contagiado a la comunidad de Splinterlands, lo que significa que el SPS también ha reaccionado con una impresionante subida de los mínimos absolutos, por lo que, lo que quiero hacer hoy es analizarlo y ver cuáles podrían ser esos próximos objetivos en el precio si el mercado sigue este rumbo.
Así que, bienvenidos a un nuevo análisis del SPS, donde veremos algunas curiosidades, métricas y proyecciones de precio para conocer si la estructura cambio, si este movimiento podría continuar y muchos otros detalles adicionales.
Analisis Fundamental del SPS ¿Fundamentalmente que ha causado el movimiento alcista del SPS?
Vamos a iniciar con un análisis muy sencillo, el cual involucra una imagen de la gráfica, pero aún no entrare en aspectos técnicos, sino que mas bien veremos fechas y lo que fue la intensidad de la subida en el precio, pero relacionándolo con las actualizaciones que mas o menos el equipo lanzo esos días. Con esto lo que hare será evaluar el impacto para corroborar si es que tuvieron impacto o no. Al final veremos la grafica y las proyecciones como siempre.
Como podemos ver en la imagen; y es un dato curioso que quise resaltar, es que, desde el 31 de mayo de este año hasta el 30 de junio, el precio bajo un 40% con un extensión y desplazamiento mucho más agresivo, y en esta impulso que viene llevando desde el 17 de julio hasta el 21 de agosto ha subido prácticamente el mismo porcentaje, pero no recuperando el mismo nivel de precios de ese entonces. No quiere decir que eso sea negativo, pero, me dice que hace falta un poco mas de convicción retail del lado de los alcistas, los cuales justo ahora tienen el poder en sus manos y más porque la estructura del precio cambio.
¿Qué actualizaciones se llevaron a cabo desde el 17 de julio al 21 de agosto de 2026?
Glint Bombs: El 14 se lanzaron los “Glint Bombs” a Praetoria, una característica especifica de las parcelas de tierra. No es que sea muy relevante para la economía, pero últimamente las tierras han concentrado un buen numero de jugadores e inversores, así que no hay que subestimarlo, pero, es interesante.
Las nuevas cartas “Frontier” y la 3ra carta del Conflicto: Estos eventos fueron geniales, de hecho, todavía se pueden conseguir algunas de estas cartas son geniales, he hecho revisiones de varias de ellas aun no termino, las famosas “The Arena Vanguard”. Por otro lado, tenemos el lanzamiento de la 3ra carta de conflicto algo que, si genera flujo de caja, ya que los jugadores que participan reparan sus vagones, ademas de que algunos compran packs y cartas y esto probablemente incentive a que los precios generales se inflen .
Visions Of Verico y el 8vo Aniversario:** Se anunciaba que la venta de estos packs que nos traen las nuevas cartas que se pueden usar solo en las parcelas de tierra, algo que sin duda movió capital para participar y no quedarse fuera, principalmente porque creo que las tierras forman parte importante del ecosistema de Splinterlands, sin mencionar que todos esperamos la tan ansiada fase 3. Por otro lado, la llegada de 2 nuevas cartas promocionales como “Tenrai y Suiko”, también es algo que hace que la economía circule.
El fin de las ventas en Escalation y 4 carta de conflicto: Esto es lo ultimo que podemos mencionar, los paquetes de “Escalation” se terminaron en la tienda, por lo que, ya no quedan más, solo se pueden comprar lo que otros jugadores quieran vender. Y el lanzamiento de la 4ta carta que también trae actividad y preparaciones.
IMPORTANTE: Con esto queda claro que se han visto muchos eventos seguidos, los cuales pudieron ser catalizadores de la subida del SPS, ademas del contexto de mercado que hemos vivido los últimos 3 o 4 días.
Analisis técnico de SPS y Proyecciones
Este análisis será rápido y sencillo, como pueden ver en la imagen el precio a superado el ultimo impulso bajista que realizo el precio, lo ven marcado con una flecha roja muy claro, esto quiere decir que estructuralmente en gráficos de 4H la tendencia del SPS ha cambiado de bajista a alcista, los compradores han tomado el control de la situación y las cosas pueden comenzar a cambiar a partir de aquí, ya que esta esta es una señal muy buena para toda la comunidad, puesto que desde hace bastante tiempo que esto no pasaba.
Entonces, si estructuralmente hablando ya cambiamos de tendencia ¿cuál es la proyección más cercana? Pues veamos cual es a continuación, aunque en la imagen esta más que claro:
- Siguiente movimiento a los $0.0040: El siguiente movimiento claro puede dirigirse hacia los $0.0040, ya que tiene vía libre hasta ese nivel en donde seguramente se encontrará con una dificultad para subir, la liquidez que se convierte en una “Resistencia” para impedir que siga subiendo, pero, es donde debemos estar mas atentos porque puede que realice un patrón de continuación después de este retroceso y tengamos que ver como se comparta en esos niveles para determinar si seguirá subiendo o no.
Consideraciones Finales
Así que, la conclusión es que el escenario y las probabilidades están a nuestro favor, no quisiera precipitarme y decir que vienen días brillantes para el SPS y la comunidad de Splinterlands con respecto al desempeño de su activo más importante, pero, ya estamos viendo los síntomas de que el mercado esta tomando mucha fuerza para continuar, por lo que hay que esperar a ver qué pasa más adelante y muy atentos a los niveles de precios que mencione.
