Algo que he estado pensando para ayudar a los nuevos usuarios en su camino para aprender a jugar en “Splinterlands”, es publicar acerca de ciertas estrategias que involucren combinaciones de reglas complicadas de manejar, donde, muchas veces no sabemos que jugar y el tiempo practicamente se agota mientras pensamos como podríamos ganarle a nuestro rival, sin embargo, en esta publicación, dare algunos “Tips” importantes para que, en cualquier combinación de reglas, puedas saber como jugar y no pensar demasiado que cartas utilizar y cuáles no.
Por lo que, en esta oportunidad, realizare una publicación hablando sobre la mejor forma de jugar en contra de las reglas “Briar Patch y Up Close & Personal”, las cuales sabemos de antemano que son conjuntos de reglas muy físicos, puesto que, solo podemos utilizar un tipo de ataque, el cual es el famoso “Cuerpo a Cuerpo”, en tal sentido, que les parece explorar estas reglas de batalla, algunos “Tips” importantes para superarlas esta y otras reglas y adicional una estrategia efectiva que funcionara en cualquier caso, aunque, por supuesto, este juego también se trata de probabilidades, puesto que, el otro lado de la pantalla se supone que tenemos a una persona o BOT pensante, capaz de jugar peor, igual o mejor que nosotros.
Entonces, teniendo en cuenta lo comentado en la “Introducción” anterior, en esta publicación detallare los siguientes puntos con la finalidad de ayudarlos a mejorar:

Aspectos a tener en cuenta para jugar contra “Briar Patch y Up Close & Personal”
En esta sección compartiré con todos ustedes los “Aspectos más importantes” que deben de conocer para jugar exitosamente en estos conjuntos de reglas específicos, así que, tomen papel y lápiz para que anoten y no se les olvide, ya que, parte fundamental para aprender de forma mucho mas sencilla a jugar en “Splinterlands” es tener una buena memoria, algo de lo que les hablare más adelante:
Utilizar habilidades de protección: Todos sabemos que la regla de batalla llamada “Briar Patch”, les otorga a todos los monstruos en el campo la famosa habilidad llamada “Thorns”, la cual, causa -2 puntos de daño al escudo o los puntos de vida del monstruo atacante, por lo que, lo ideal, es protegernos para que este daño no afecte a nuestras cartas o les brinde al menos en una ronda, una capa de defensa con la finalidad de soportar mas turnos en el campo con la mayor cantidad de salud posible, en tal sentido, utilizar habilidades como “Divine Shield y Reflection Shield” es imperativo en estos casos, ya que, con “Divine Shield”, en el primer turno ninguna carta recibe daño, y con “Reflection Shield”, las cartas que posean esta habilidad no reciben ningun tipo de daño de habilidades como: Thorns, Blast, Return Fire y Magic Reflect.
Cartas correctas en Ofensiva: Otra cosa que debemos tomar en cuenta, es la ofensiva que debemos colocar en este tipo de reglas, ya que, no solo basta con protegernos de “Briar Patch”, sino que tenemos también a “Up Close & Personal”, entonces, teniendo en cuenta esto, las cartas correctas con una buena ofensiva es vital para poder ganar, así que, estas cartas que elijamos deben tener las habilidades (Sneak y Opportunity), las cuales, se enfocan en atacar a la ultima carta del oponente en el campo, en el caso de “Sneak”, y “Opportunity”, se centra en atacar a los monstruos más débiles en términos de puntos de vida.
1ra y 6ta posición: En este conjunto de reglas especifico, ademas de la ofensiva, debemos pensar bien que cartas colocar tanto en 1era posición como en la última, ya que, si colocamos un tanque débil y con puntos vitales bajos, es muy probable que perdamos, lo mismo pasaría si colocamos en la parte trasera de nuestra alienación, un monstruo que no tenga resistencia, así que, estas partes de nuestra formación, deben estar bien protegidas, para subir las probabilidades de ganar la batalla.
Nota: Si tomamos en cuenta todos aspectos que he descrito en esta sección, con seguridad podremos armar un equipo fuerte y competitivo que gane batallas en estos específicos “Conjuntos de Reglas”, ya que, las probabilidades de que nuestros monstruos resistan el daño constante de “Thorns” y el poder de ataque de las cartas del oponente, es bastante grande, así que, lo correcto al analizar 2 o 3 reglas de batallas, es cubrir los espacios de cada una, en pocas palabras, jugar a favor o en contra de estas, según sea el caso.
Condiciones de la batalla, aspectos a tomar en cuenta y estrategia
En esta sección explicare con una batalla la estrategia que utilice para jugar con los conjuntos de reglas “Briar Patch y Up Close & Personal”, la idea de esto, es que observen visualmente como alineo a mis monstruos y de esta manera puedan observar en ella cada uno de los aspectos importantes que explique anteriormente, de esta forma, será mucho mas sencillo entender le proceso de selección de monstruos para cada regla especifica, aunque, en este caso en particular, las reglas son bastante sencillas de manejar, ya que solo lidiaremos con un solo ataque.
Condiciones de Batalla
Up Close & Personal: Esta regla de batalla se explica por si sola, de hecho, en el transcurso de toda esta publicación ya la he explicado, solo podemos utilizar cartas con el tipo de ataque “Cuerpo a Cuerpo”, por otro lado, el juego en este sentido es solamente físico.
Briar Patch: Esta regla de batalla es un poco mas complicada, pero hace una buena sinergia con la regla antes explicada, ya que, al solo utilizar ataques “cuerpo a cuerpo”, hace que el daño practicamente sea seguro, puesto que el ataque es netamente físico, lo que hace que la estrategia a utilizar, sea mas clara. Esta regla de batalla le brinda a todos os monstruos en el campo la habilidad de “Thorns”.
Cantidad de mana y Splinters: En esta batalla solo puedo utilizar 2 Splinters que son, Vida y Dragon”, lo que me deja practicamente con una sola opción independientemente de lo que elija, así que, la elección de un buen splinter aquí, determinara posiblemente el curso de la batalla, tomando en cuenta que, la cantidad de mana para utilizar es baja, de tan solo 20 puntos.
Aspectos importantes
Lo primero que debemos tener en cuenta es que, debemos utilizar monstruos con la mayor cantidad de puntos vitales posibles, especialmente en la 1era y ultima posición, puesto que, como el ataque es físico, lo ideal es protegernos con un buen monstruo en estas posiciones, aunque, la otra alternativa es utilizar un monstruo de señuelo para que el oponente tenga estos puntos de daños a propósito, con la finalidad de disminuir sus puntos vitales.
Las siguientes habilidades son imperativas en estas especificas reglas de batalla, ya que, lo ideal es tener una buena ofensiva, sin olvidar la defensa, estas habilidades son “Sneak, Opportunity, Scavenger, Divine Shield y Reflection Shield.
Estrategia de Batalla
Mi estrategia de batalla es sencilla, ya que los conjuntos de reglas que me tocaron, son básicamente sencillos, en tal sentido, lo primero que hice al conocer que solo tenía disponible el “Splinter de Vida”, fue utilizar a la invocadora llamada “Lorna Shine”, la cual, es una de mis favoritas en dicho equipo, puesto que, esta le brinda a todas las cartas en el campo la habilidad llamada “Divine Shield”, permitiéndoles protegerse de cualquier daño que puedan tener en la 1era ronda de la batalla, así que, con esto inicio mi plan para proteger a mis monstruos de “Thorns”, los cual, es primordial en este tipo de batallas.
Lo siguiente es la ofensiva, sin olvidar la defensa, así que, lo primero que hice fue colocar en la primera posición a un monstruo señuelo llamado “Gargoya Scrapper”, con la finalidad de que mi oponente lo ataque y disminuir los puntos vitales del tanque de mi oponente, posteriormente coloque a mi tanque llamado “Chaos Knight”, para que pudiera rivalizar con el tanque de mi oponente teniendo ventaja sobre él, las siguientes 2 cartas que jugué son mi ofensiva, teniendo las habilidades de “Sneak y Opportunity” y por último, en la ultima posicion coloque a un monstruo señuelo, pero, con la esperanza de que pudiera ganar puntos de vida con la muerte de varias cartas en el campo gracias a si habilidad de “Scavenger”, lo que no funciono, sin embargo, lo que si sirvió fue hacerle dalo a mi oponente, ya que era un blanco claro de ataque.
Consideraciones Finales

Something I have been thinking to help new users on their way to learn how to play Splinterlands, is to publish about certain strategies that involve combinations of rules complicated to handle, where, many times we do not know what to play and the time practically runs out while we think how we could beat our opponent, however, in this publication, I will give some important "Tips" so that, in any combination of rules, you can know how to play and not think too much about which cards to use and which not to use.
So, in this opportunity, I will make a publication talking about the best way to play against the "Briar Patch and Up Close & Personal" rules, which we know beforehand that they are very physical sets of rules, since we can only use one type of attack, which is the famous "Melee", in that sense, What about exploring these rules of battle, some important "Tips" to overcome this and other rules and additional an effective strategy that will work in any case, although, of course, this game is also about probabilities, since, the other side of the screen is supposed to have a person or thinking BOT, able to play worse, equal or better than us.
So, taking into account what was said in the previous "Introduction", in this publication I will detail the following points in order to help you improve:

Aspects to consider when playing against "Briar Patch and Up Close & Personal".
In this section I will share with all of you the "Most Important Aspects" that you must know to play successfully in these specific rule sets, so, take paper and pencil to write down and do not forget, since, a fundamental part to learn in a much easier way to play in "Splinterlands" is to have a good memory, something that I will talk about later on:
Use protection skills: We all know that the battle rule called "Briar Patch", gives all monsters on the field the famous ability called "Thorns", which causes -2 points of damage to the shield or life points of the attacking monster, so the ideal is to protect ourselves so that this damage does not affect our cards or gives them at least one round, In this sense, using abilities such as "Divine Shield and Reflection Shield" is imperative in these cases, since, with "Divine Shield", in the first turn no card receives damage, and with "Reflection Shield", the cards that possess this ability do not receive any type of damage from abilities such as Thorns, Thorns, Blast, Return Fire, and Magic Reflect.
Correct cards in Offensive: Another thing that we must take into account is the offensive that we must place in this type of rules, since it is not only enough to protect us from "Briar Patch", but we also have "Up Close & Personal", then, taking into account this, the right cards with a good offensive is vital to win, So, these cards that we choose must have the abilities (Sneak and Opportunity), which focus on attacking the last card of the opponent in the field, in the case of "Sneak", and "Opportunity", focuses on attacking the weakest monsters in terms of life points.
1st and 6th position: In this specific set of rules, in addition to the offensive, we must think well which cards to place both in 1st and last position, because if we place a weak tank and with low vital points, it is very likely that we will lose, the same would happen if we place in the rear of our alignment, a monster that has no resistance, so these parts of our formation must be well protected, to increase the chances of winning the battle.
Note: If we take into account all the aspects that I have described in this section, we will surely be able to build a strong and competitive team that will win battles in these specific "Rule Sets", since the probabilities of our monsters resisting the constant damage of "Thorns" and the attack power of the opponent's cards is quite high, so the correct thing to do when analyzing 2 or 3 rules of battles is to cover the gaps of each one, in short, to play for or against them, as the case may be.
Battle conditions, aspects to be taken into account and strategy
In this section I will explain with a battle the strategy I use to play with the rule sets "Briar Patch and Up Close & Personal", the idea of this is that you can visually observe how I align my monsters and in this way you can observe in it each of the important aspects that I explained before, in this way, it will be much easier to understand the process of selection of monsters for each specific rule, although, in this particular case, the rules are quite simple to handle, since we will only deal with a single attack.
Battle Conditions
Up Close & Personal: This battle rule is self-explanatory, in fact, in the course of this entire publication I have already explained it, we can only use cards with the "Melee" attack type, on the other hand, the game in this sense is only physical.
Briar Patch: This battle rule is a bit more complicated, but it makes a good synergy with the rule explained above, since, by only using "melee" attacks, the damage is practically certain, since the attack is purely physical, which makes the strategy to be used clearer. This battle rule gives all monsters on the field the ability of "Thorns".
Amount of mana and Splinters: In this battle I can only use 2 Splinters, Vida and Dragon", which leaves me with practically only one option regardless of what I choose, so the choice of a good splinter here will possibly determine the course of the battle, taking into account that the amount of mana to use is low, only 20 points.
Important aspects
The first thing to keep in mind is that we must use monsters with as many vital points as possible, especially in the 1st and last position, since, as the attack is physical, the ideal is to protect ourselves with a good monster in these positions, although the other alternative is to use a decoy monster so that the opponent has these damage points on purpose, in order to reduce his vital points.
The following skills are imperative in these specific battle rules, since, the ideal is to have a good offense, without forgetting the defense, these skills are "Sneak, Opportunity, Scavenger, Divine Shield and Reflection Shield.
Battle Strategy
My battle strategy is simple, since the sets of rules that I had, are basically simple, in that sense, the first thing I did when I knew that I only had available the "Splinter of Life", was to use the summoner called "Lorna Shine", which is one of my favorites in that team, since she gives all the cards on the field the ability called "Divine Shield", allowing them to protect themselves from any damage they may have in the 1st round of the battle, so with this I start my plan to protect my monsters from "Thorns", which is paramount in this type of battles.
The following is the offensive, without forgetting the defense, so the first thing I did was to place in the first position a decoy monster called "Gargoya Scrapper", in order to make my opponent attack it and decrease the vital points of my opponent's tank, then I placed my tank called "Chaos Knight", so I could compete with my opponent's tank having advantage over him, The next 2 cards that I played are my offensive, having the abilities of "Sneak and Opportunity" and finally, in the last position I placed a decoy monster, but, with the hope that I could gain life points with the death of several cards in the field thanks to my ability of "Scavenger", which did not work, however, what it did serve was to make my opponent dalo, since it was a clear target of attack.
