¿Qué es Watch Dogs?
Estamos ante un nuevo mundo tecnológico, en este increíble título traído por la mano de Ubisoft, en esta aventura nos adentraremos en el nuevo y avanzado Chicago, la cual se convirtió en la primera ciudad en el mundo implementando un nuevo sistema llamado ctOS (Sistema de Operación Central), donde se recolecta la información de todos los usuarios que se encuentren en el mismo, conectando todos los aparatos electrónicos.
Para hacerle frente a estas calles tomamos a nuestro personaje, llamado “Aiden Pearce”, un hacker informático el cual, se gana la vida robando información, dinero o cualquier tipo de trabajo ilícito que se le sea encargado, este cuenta con unas grandes habilidades a la hora de ejecutar su trabajo, en compañía de sus contactos y socios, Aiden se dispone a cumplir con su trabajo.
¿Cómo lo hace?, como ya se dijo, al tener una ciudad completamente conectada, tenemos el mundo al alcance de nuestro teléfono, con sus habilidades de Hacker, Aiden interactúa con toda la ciudad en cuestión de segundos, hackeando cajeros, luces de tránsito, barricadas, autos y todo tipo de cosas imaginables al tener estas habilidades.
Opinión Personal
Inicialmente, me parece un poco lento el juego, la historia no toma tanto valor mientras vamos jugando, pero mientras más avanzamos, descubrimos secretos y vemos el oscuro pasado y presente del personaje principal, lo que hace que todo vaya tomando un buen color, tornándose mucho más interesante, cabe destacar que, esta tiene unos puntos un tanto bruscos, nada muy exagerado, en los cuales se fuerzan las interacciones para finiquitar la historia, por su puesto, esta es mi opinión.
En cuanto a jugabilidad se trata, este título me encanto, excepto en la conducción, ya que, con sinceridad, esta si es un poco floja a comparación de lo demás, la forma en la que se pelea es bastante buena, tomando en cuenta la estrategia y la fluidez con que se hace, usar los aparatos a tu alrededor para distraer o incluso atacar es excelente, considero que en eso, el título destaca bastante, esto me lleva a decir que, los puntos interesantes del juego y que llamaron más mi atención son:
Conexión: Por conexión me refiero a la forma en la que se interconectan los aparatos electrónicos, absolutamente toda la ciudad está conectada y puede ser utilizada como arma o defensa, son muchas las cosas que se pueden hacer, mientras más juguemos, iremos desbloqueando nuevas habilidades y técnicas para poner en práctica, cosa que está muy bien.
Vestimenta: El diseño del personaje también está muy bien, su estilo es muy adecuado para un hacker informático de Chicago, el cual también tiene destreza con las armas, podremos elegir entre distintos conjuntos, colores y accesorios para personalizar a nuestro Aiden, si bien no está al nivel de títulos como GTA V, esto le da un buen toque al juego.
Información: Al tener acceso a absolutamente todo en la base de datos, podremos extraer todo tipo de información en Chicago, tanto de personas en la calle, figuras importantes, empresas y muchas otras cosas. Esto le otorga una mayor profundidad a la historia, para de esta forma hacer un juego aún más interesante.
En cuanto al juego
El juego, como se explicó, está centrado en la historia de Aiden Pearce, este, en su trabajo fue descubierto por cierto hacker mientras cumplía con una tarea, por tanto, se descubrió su identidad y la de su familia, luego de esto este trata de protegerlos a toda costa, pero, esto no fue suficiente para salvar a su sobrina, luego de esto Aiden se dedica a descubrir al asesino.
En sí la historia es bastante interesante y mixta, con varios objetivos por lograr y descubrir dentro de esta enorme ciudad, en esta, las locaciones tendrán un gran entorno, lleno de misiones secundarias y peticiones que nos llegarán al móvil, a su vez podremos tomarnos todo tipo de libertades para explorar en un mundo totalmente libre para nosotros.
La Jugabilidad
Demasiado buena e interactiva, con sus defectos claramente, pero iré desenvolviendo cada aspecto de la misma. Iniciamos con los propios movimientos de Aiden, este tiene una gran soltura a la hora de caminar, correr y moverse por el mapa, a la vez que utiliza su teléfono celular para controlar las cosas que sean necesarias.
En cuanto a conducción se trata, si es un particular bastante débil del juego, puesto que la misma no está tan fluida, manejar los vehículos es complicado, a mi parecer, la veo y siento un poco tosca, esto aplicado a autos y motocicletas, las primordiales fuentes de transporte del juego.
Para el combate, si considero que está perfecto así como esta, tenemos un juego de acción, con peleas cuerpo a cuerpo y armas de fuego, el sistema de apuntado, la versatilidad del control con el móvil a la vez que se pelea, ambos están muy bien, se pueden hacer ambas cosas de una forma bastante intuitiva, esto le da al juego esa capacidad de pelea tan entretenida que poco se ve en otros títulos.
Entorno del juego
Centrados en la ciudad de Chicago, los escenarios que aquí se muestran son bastante buenos en mi opinión, pienso que cada uno fue muy bien planeado y ejecutado, puesto que estemos donde estemos, el mundo se conecta en todos los sentidos posibles, por tanto, tendremos una experiencia de juego muy fluida y poco limitada.
En cuanto al diseño, arte gráfico y este tipo de cosas, este título me encanta, la iluminación, sombras, detallado de personajes, todo está muy bien, al igual que los hilos de conexión saliendo del teléfono de Aiden, hicieron un muy buen trabajo, por el hecho de que estos serían bastante incómodos de ver puestos de otra forma, pero como están le dan incluso un mejor toque al juego.
Los Graficos
Increíbles, como cualquier título traído por Ubisoft, los gráficos mostrados en este juego son de un gran nivel para el momento donde se estrenó, es muy gratificante ver el detallado y pulidez de todos los edificios y estructuras en el juego, las armas, efectos especiales, cada uno es único y tienen un gran nivel de elaboración.
La iluminación también es un gran factor a tomar en cuenta, normalmente la ciudad de Chicago es bastante oscura y sombría, cosa que plasmaron de una forma excelente, mezclándola con las mejoras tecnológicas implementadas, para así presentarnos una obra gráfica de alto nivel.
Empresa - Ubisoft
Buscando algunas nuevas opciones, con el fin de ampliar más la información sobre el juego y la empresa que los crea, mi intención es presentarles mayor calidad en mis reseñas, por esta razón, decidí abrir un nuevo apartado. En este les estaré dando información en cuanto a la empresa refiere, tomando en cuenta aspectos importantes como los personajes, entregas anteriores y cualquier cualidad que pueda observar de la misma.
Ubisoft: Esta es una de las mayores empresas en el mundo de los videojuegos, los actores principales de la entrega de este increíble juego y muchos otros, dicha compañía se enfoca en hacer juegos con una gran variedad, teniendo entre su repertorio juegos como Assassins Creed, Rayman y Farcry, aunque existen muchos otros que, tienen un gran impacto cada vez que se hace uno nuevo, en cuanto a mis gustos se refiere la gran mayoría de juegos que hacen son geniales, con una gran historia detrás y unos gráficos al nivel más alto.
Watchdogs 2: Es la continuación de este increíble juego el cual, nos da un mundo más abierto, no tiene una conexión tan grande como este primer título, pero conserva aspectos de jugabilidad muy relevantes, pero más desarrollados, obviamente mejores gráficos y una temática bastante apegada a lo que se tenía, además que, se incluyó una nueva modalidad online donde podremos disfrutar con amigos.
Otros títulos: Cabe destacar que esta empresa tiene otros títulos asombrosos que he jugado a lo largo del tiempo, obviamente no todos, pero si la gran mayoría, con títulos que sería bueno que apreciaran, de hecho ya escribí un post de estos, por si desean observarlo, entre mis próximos post tengo varios de esta empresa de los cuales quisiera escribir próximamente.
Observaciones finales
Con esto, he terminado la reseña de uno de los mejores juegos en temáticas tecnológicas que conozco, sin ser algo muy futurista, ni muy lineal, este título vale totalmente la pena y me encanto, le dedique muchas horas, si bien tiene sus detalles, es bastante disfrutable y si no lo han jugado, lo recomiendo totalmente.

What is Watch Dogs?
We are facing a new technological world, in this incredible title brought by the hand of Ubisoft, in this adventure we will enter the new and advanced Chicago, which became the first city in the world implementing a new system called ctOS (Central Operating System), which collects information from all users who are in it, connecting all electronic devices.
To face these streets we take our character, called "Aiden Pearce", a computer hacker who makes a living stealing information, money or any kind of illicit work that is entrusted to him, this has great skills when it comes to perform their work, in the company of his contacts and partners, Aiden is ready to fulfill his work.
How does he do it, as already mentioned, having a fully connected city, we have the world at the reach of our phone, with his Hacker skills, Aiden interacts with the entire city in a matter of seconds, hacking ATMs, traffic lights, barricades, cars and all kinds of things imaginable to have these skills.
Personal Opinion
Initially, I find the game a little slow, the story does not take so much value as we play, but the more we advance, we discover secrets and see the dark past and present of the main character, which makes everything is taking a good color, becoming much more interesting, it should be noted that this has a somewhat abrupt points, nothing too exaggerated, in which the interactions are forced to end the story, of course, this is my opinion.
As far as gameplay is concerned, I loved this title, except for the driving, because, honestly, this is a bit weak compared to the rest, the way you fight is pretty good, taking into account the strategy and fluidity with which it is done, using the devices around you to distract or even attack is excellent, I think that in that, the title stands out quite a bit, this leads me to say that the interesting points of the game and that caught my attention are:
Connection: By connection I mean the way in which electronic devices are interconnected, absolutely the whole city is connected and can be used as a weapon or defense, there are many things that can be done, the more we play, we will unlock new skills and techniques to put into practice, which is very good.
Costumes: The character design is also very good, his style is very suitable for a computer hacker from Chicago, which also has skill with weapons, we can choose between different outfits, colors and accessories to customize our Aiden, although it is not at the level of titles like GTA V, this gives a good touch to the game.
Information: Having access to absolutely everything in the database, we can extract all kinds of information in Chicago, both people on the street, important figures, companies and many other things. This gives a greater depth to the story, thus making the game even more interesting.
Regarding the game
The game, as explained, is focused on the story of Aiden Pearce, this, in his work was discovered by a certain hacker while fulfilling a task, therefore, his identity and that of his family was discovered, after this he tries to protect them at all costs, but, this was not enough to save his niece, after this Aiden is dedicated to discover the murderer.
In itself the story is quite interesting and mixed, with several objectives to achieve and discover within this huge city, in this, the locations will have a great environment, full of side missions and requests that we will get to the mobile, in turn we can take all kinds of liberties to explore in a totally free world for us.
Gameplay
Too good and interactive, with its flaws clearly, but I will unravel every aspect of it. We start with Aiden's own movements, he has a great fluency when it comes to walking, running and moving around the map, while using his cell phone to control the things that are necessary.
As far as driving is concerned, if it is a rather weak particular of the game, since it is not so fluid, driving vehicles is complicated, in my opinion, I see and feel a little rough, this applied to cars and motorcycles, the primary sources of transportation in the game.
For combat, if I consider it is perfect as it is, we have an action game, with melee fights and firearms, the aiming system, the versatility of control with the mobile while fighting, both are very good, you can do both things in a fairly intuitive way, this gives the game that ability to fight so entertaining that little is seen in other titles.
Game environment
Focused on the city of Chicago, the scenarios shown here are pretty good in my opinion, I think each one was very well planned and executed, since wherever we are, the world is connected in every possible way, therefore, we will have a very fluid and not very limited game experience.
As for the design, graphic art and this kind of things, I love this title, the lighting, shadows, character detailing, everything is very good, just like the connection threads coming out of Aiden's phone, they did a very good job, for the fact that these would be quite uncomfortable to see otherwise, but as they are they give an even better touch to the game.
The Graphics
Incredible, like any title brought by Ubisoft, the graphics shown in this game are of a great level for the time where it was released, it is very gratifying to see the detail and polish of all the buildings and structures in the game, weapons, special effects, each one is unique and have a great level of elaboration.
The lighting is also a great factor to take into account, normally the city of Chicago is quite dark and gloomy, something that they captured in an excellent way, mixing it with the technological improvements implemented, in order to present us with a high level graphic work.
Company - Ubisoft
Looking for some new options, in order to expand more information about the game and the company that creates them, my intention is to present more quality in my reviews, for this reason, I decided to open a new section. In this section I will be giving you information about the company, taking into account important aspects such as the characters, previous releases and any quality that I can observe about it.
Ubisoft: This is one of the biggest companies in the world of video games, the main actors of the delivery of this incredible game and many others, this company focuses on making games with a great variety, having among its repertoire games like Assassins Creed, Rayman and Farcry, although there are many others that have a great impact every time a new one is made, as far as my tastes are concerned the vast majority of games they make are great, with a great story behind and graphics at the highest level.
Watchdogs 2: It is the continuation of this incredible game which gives us a more open world, does not have a connection as big as this first title, but retains very relevant aspects of gameplay, but more developed, obviously better graphics and a theme quite attached to what it had, in addition, a new online mode was included where we can enjoy with friends.
Other titles: It should be noted that this company has other amazing titles that I have played over time, obviously not all, but if the vast majority, with titles that would be good to appreciate, in fact I already wrote a post of these, if you want to watch it, among my next post I have several of this company of which I would like to write soon.
Concluding remarks
With this, I have finished the review of one of the best games in technological themes that I know, without being something very futuristic, nor very linear, this title is totally worth it and I loved it, I dedicated many hours to it, although it has its details, it is quite enjoyable and if you have not played it, I totally recommend it.

La primera vez que lo jugué no esperaba nada ni tenia expectativas pero resultó ser un gran juego, el tema de como todo está conectado tecnológicamente y como Aiden (el prota) al tener los conocimientos tecnológicos aprovecha para acceder a casi toda la información, me encanta. Recuerdo que tocaba ciertos temas adultos con alguna misión, donde descubrías a depredadores o acosadores, muy bueno sin duda.
Totalmente, esta particularidad tecnológica y como Aiden lo aprovechaba para acceder a la información, era muy genial, al principio no me animaba mucho, pero después se volvió increíblemente entretenido.

One of the most underrated games of the decade without a doubt. It's a good game, a lot of hate has been thrown at it, but it was because of what happened with the trailer, the game itself is good in my opinion.
If the truth be told, despite those comments at the time, what matters to me is its gameplay and my experience as a player, in addition to the entertainment that it manages to give me, with these aspects, I think it's an incredible game.
