IF I HAVE JUST 24-HOURS TO LIVE
Hello guys,
I'm Sam and this is my entry post on this week topic on what I would do if I have just 24hours to live.
I'll start by saying life itself is uncertain and tomorrow is not assured, everything in life has a time limit so this topic is not just another topic on Hive Ghana but a call to reflect deeply on how we use our limited time on earth.
Now what will I do if i have 24hours to live 🤔
Let me laugh first😂😂
I'll say knowing for sure when one would die will be the greatest gift anyone could ask for as we'll be able to know how to plan our life better.
As for me if I have just a day to live I'll love to live it in all the luxuries of this world. What is life without enjoyment! 😁😍
BELOW IS THE LIST OF THINGS I'LL DO IF MY LIFE HAS 24HOURS COUNTDOWN:
- TAKE TIME TO SEEK THE FACE OF GOD
God giveth life and taketh with no one to question him. He alone knows why, how and when it's time to go home(die). So I'll start my first and last hours meditating and rendering prayer to him. I'll ask for forgiveness of all my sins and trespasses, praise him and thank him for the opportunity he has given to me.
- INVITE MY LOVE ONES OVER AND CELEBRATE
We usually hold funeral to honour the dead for their life and their influence on us where everybody rejoices, dine and get drunk irrespective of how well they actually lived. Why then can't I be celebrated in my last hour? I'll love to invite my favourite artist, wine and dine and even get tipsy as this is literally my last event on earth🤗. All this in the company of my love ones.
- SPEND 50% OF MY SAVINGS ON THINGS I'VE LONG TO HAVE
Yeah! This part is interesting 🤗
I'll spend 50% of my savings on things I've long wanted but had to shift because of any reasons. Afterall it's my money.
- DRIVE MYSELF TO THE HOSPITAL
I'll drive myself to any hospital I like as I won't like to stress my people or anyone cleaning the mess or having nightmares and seeing my ghost😂
- TAKE CARE OF MY CASKET BILL, BURIAL AND HOSPITAL BILL
I will make full payment for my own burial. For hospital bills and every other charges attached.
- PRAY UNTIL THE LAST SECONDS
As I stated earlier, I'll end it on praying, intercede for my love ones and ask for forgiveness again and again till my eye close to eternal glory ✌️🤗
This is how I'll like to live my last 24 hours if I know.
My people it's almost impossible to know when, how or where we'll take our last breath so it's important to always live our life to the fullest because nothing is assured.
People die daily from accident, sleep, sickness, Terrorist attack, natural disaster and all sort of death so it's important we always have the impression that life has a time limit and we only live once so we have to live it well.
