bHIVE & bHBD | The Multi-Token Bridge Protocol and Generating $90k Per Month

It's no secret that bHIVE & bHBD have taken the forefront of the CUB Protocol's future. Over the last 12-18 months, we've been working hard through trial and error to figure out how to build a sustainable, reliable and growing defi yield protocol.

Little did we know that the secret lay right in front of us: Hive.

Building HIVE and HBD derivatives has turned out to be extremely profitable for the CUB DAO. Through Wrapping Fees, Arbitrage and Oracle Staking, the DAO has consistently grown its revenue each month. Last month, it surpassed $9,125.

100% of this revenue buys CUB on the open market and burns it.

Last month, it paid $15k in incentives to $625k in liquidity. It generated $9,125 in revenue so that leaves a deficit of roughly $6k. As that deficit gap closes, CUB will become deflationary and we believe this will lead to a pinwheel effect of liquidity growth (since a higher CUB price = more APY for LPs = more liquidity = more revenue each month = higher CUB price from buyback and burn activities increasing).

In this clip, we talk about our vision of the future. Can we 10x the revenue from current stages? $625k in liquidity will become $1M and then $1.25M and so on and so forth. Will the pinwheel effect keep pushing liquidity to new heights and thus, grow revenues to new heights? What kind of CUB economy do we have if $90k per month is generated to buyback and burn CUB?

Interesting to see CUB become a reliable DEX for trading HIVE and HBD which are by far the most compliant web3 cryptos. Hopefully, the Leogrowth initiatives in 2023 would cover those aspects and we'll hit those targets sooner.

I always find your perspectives interesting but for me (and I think for many other hivians) who want to invest:

  • I don't know where to start to have and manage income via CUBs.
  • My little advice is to create links in your posts to a step-by-step tutorial.

It would be great to see few more HIVE related assets added. GLX and DEC could be good candidates. They both have a decent trading volume and their respective games have potential to do extremely well in future.

Thank you! If the trading volume is large enough, it won't be difficult to have it listed. Bridges take resources to maintain. Unfortunately most of the HIVE-Engine Tokens I hold don't have a large trading volume.
