It's weekend and I trust we all had a great day today.So today I thought of posting something different,although not totally different from what I have been sending here but just a new discussion for today.I titled it,"Colour speaks".
Yes,colour speaks and this is one knowledge an artist possesses that informs his dexterious usage of colour to both pass a message to his viewer and also stir a feeling in them.
Largely,the two categories of warm and cool colours can impact greatly on the eyes and mind when used artistically and in these two paintings having the same model,one has an evident cool atmosphere achieved by the use of cool colours and this tends to create a calm effect or mood in the viewer while the other seems to stir a tense feeling in the viewer which is as a result of the seemingly warm colour usage.
In all,the usage of colours communicates beyond the eyes,hence,colour speaks.
