My Alive and Thriving trip to the Northside of the Island!

Happy #aliveandthriving Tuesday evening and thank you for your visit!
Today I decided to take a trip to someplace that I rarely stop at. Normally I just drive by. So today I decided to go up there and stop and look around.
This is where you come in from just before the turn around under the bridge,

This is a look down the Peninsula,

And about halfway down they have these spikes driven in - to keep people from driving further out,

I saw a Snowy Egret and a Tri-Colored Heron out in the water,

This is a look out into the Channel. That point is where I was a week or so ago at the Suter Wildlife Refuge,

This is the extreme Northside of the Island - houses are right up to the waters edge,

And a look at the Shoreline towards the highway,

And the highway leading into Corpus Christi,

While I was there I saw a few plants - not many!
There was a few of these Cactus growing. These plants have 4 inch spines!

A few dying Sunflowers, odd they are very #aliveandthriving in the Southside,

And a Curlycup Gumweed, and they are also not doing as well as those on the Southside,

And then I left and headed home,
and that was it for this Tuesday!
I want to thank you again for your visit and I am Wishing you a Very Blessed, Happy, and Safe Mid-Week!

Sending you a tip point.
Nice to see the north side of the island there. Oohh coastal homes.. I !HOPE it's safe there. Interesting that flowers are thriving better on the south side. Thank you for showing us more of your area. Happy midweek!
