Wednesday Walk - 09.28.22 Bird Sanctuary - Packery Channel (N.Padre Island)

So this week I went to a area that is a Bird Sanctuary - everything else too, except fishing in the canal itself - otherwise you have to fish a ways off shore...
I got quite a few photos (👍🏼) so I will concentrate mostly on Bird Shots, and their area here.
So here is where You drive into the area,
And here we have a few fishermen fishing in the Channel,
This is the bait stand - "Clems",
And here is the back side and Weather Station,
Right across from there is this Island,
In the middle there is a sign, here is a little closer,
Yes, "Do Not" let them catch you here! This whole island is for "Wildlife Only", the fines are astronomical!
Here is the Sanctuary on this side,
Two gulls on poles - the poles are the limit! You should not pass them!
Here one took off!
And flying away,
This crowd was right behind,
So I think they got frightened also,
Here is two more on the sand taking a walk themselves,
This area leads over into some little islands where they raise the baby birds,
And here is Seven Gulls watching the one in the water,
And a Gull and a Sandpiper in the water together,
That was it for this Wednesday Walk, I have a bunch more photos - something out the camera still! But I feel that I can go back in a week or so and do them better! 😉
