Wednesday Walk: "My trip to Cole Park"!

Hello Friends, happy Wednesday and thank you for your visit!

It is #wednesdaywalk #34 of 2026, and for this week I went to a downtown Park - for a change of scenery!

But first I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - #wednesdaywalk ,
"Thank You"!

So first I saw this Seagull that was pretty much alone just looking out at the water,

And here is the water it was looking at! Yeah, it could get wet around the edge!

From there I walked a bit away from the water and found this Seagull hanging around with some Blackbirds,

He got a little closer, there must be some form of food there!

Then I walked a little and came to the Pavilion. They were setting up an event there,

And to the right was the Cole Park fishing pier,

I decided to continue on the trail (path ?) and took a few photos of the Corpus Christi downtown,

And a little closer,

And from out next to the water a look back towards the Kiddos area,

yes the grass is dying...

Then I walked back across that side of the Park to take a look at my old favorite spot here. Well, the table and benches are gone,

Way out in the water an oil tanker is coming in, zoomed a little,

And a few views! This is back towards the Pier and the Parking lot I was in,

A closer view of the Parking lot with the Palm Trees,

And a look back at the area I was just at. The Whitecaps have turned into Whitehorses and it is getting pretty choppy out there!

And then I left Cole Park. I am sure I will be here again - probably in a month or so.
