QOTW 10.7: Are activists who inconvenience the general public justified?

I believe that these protests and demonstrations are justified. It is true that climate change is a serious threat, and if we don't act soon then we might not have a future. We need to take drastic steps to save our planet. These people are trying to show the urgency of the situation, and the importance of the issue.

We should also remember that these protesters are not just selfishly disrupting the lives of the general public. They are trying to draw attention to the problem. If they hadn't done this, then people would probably just ignore it.

If people aren't aware of the seriousness of the situation, then they won't try to find solutions. So by getting the message across, these protesters are actually helping the cause.

Of course, there is a fine line between raising awareness and causing unnecessary disruption. There are plenty of examples of protests that have gone too far, and caused real problems for the general public.

In the UK, there was an incident where activists blocked off a main road in London. This caused massive delays for commuters, and the police had to be called in to clear the protestors. There were injuries reported during this, and the protesters were arrested.

Another example of a protest that went wrong was when a group of activists got into a car park and blocked access to a shopping centre. This caused huge traffic jams and a lot of angry drivers.

So, there is definitely a danger that some people will become frustrated and angry. But I think that these protests are still justified, and the benefits outweigh the negatives.

I am a big fan of the work that Greenpeace does. They are a great organisation that has done a lot of amazing things to raise awareness about environmental issues. And they have never caused any real problems for the general public.

I think that it is a good idea to have protests like this. They are a powerful way to get the message across. And it is a good way to make people aware of the problem.

For me, the important thing is that people try to avoid causing too much inconvenience. I don't think that we should go too far. Otherwise, people will start to resent the protesters.

So, in conclusion, I believe that these protests are justified. But we need to be careful not to cause too much disruption.

I hope that this has given you something to think about.

You are right by the way you put it but the fear is when things go west with the protesting it does not always end up well.

I believe it is not wrong to protest but I've hardly seen a protest that went as planned so for me, I'll prefer we just keep praying for our world and keep doing what we need to do as individuals.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this with us dear.

Interesting! You have said well and it is mostly human carelessness that leads to protests and we can't ignore the fact that we all want the best and to have a good life. In order for protest not to go wrong, I think we should be careful and learn how to manage so it doesn't get to the extent of being damaged due to not taking care of things around us. We can only pray for the best in our world.
