Wednesday Walk - August 17, 2022
Hello, everyone!
My post if for #WednesdayWalk by @tattoodjay And Make me Smile by @elizacheng
I missed last Wednesday's walk, alas.
Wednesday walk again. But my walk was not today.
Last night there was an air raid on a small resort town in the region. In the morning, air-raid sirens went off several times in the city. By noon a thunderstorm began. I couldn't immediately tell if it was thunder or explosions. It was thunder! The rain was torrential. A storm warning was issued in the city and throughout the region. Rains with thunderstorms and gusty winds of 15-20 m/s are expected. Such weather is expected in the next 24 hours. Yes, not the best time to walk around with a camera.
And yet a few days ago I was out for a walk, but in the evening. But that dreaded siren call signaled that it was time to take cover.
That day I decided to take pictures of the evening lights. The lights from the car headlights, the evening lights. I filmed quickly. It helped me relieve my stress. It was a kind of photo-impressionism.
That was such a walk!

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
Thank you so much!
I try to be safe😊
Witnessing a raid is scary and as well as the thunderstorm. Keep safe. :))
The cruise missile flies almost silently, only the aftermath of the explosion can be heard. Thunder is a consequence of lightning. The sun was shining during the day, but at the same time it was raining and thundering. I did not see any lightning.
Thank you for your empathy.
