I finally found the Castle, but why was it quiet here? The continuation of our wandering around to La Virginia Resort.

In the past weeks, I shared about our last travel with the husband's family before he returned to work. The first few hours of wandering were mixed emotions as I was happy having a great time with the family and seeing my favorite part of the resort unmaintained. It was abandoned, perhaps due to the need for more finances from the management. Yet, I was trying to stay positive, thinking that there are still many tourist attractions on the west side.

Am I feeling it right, or maybe not? Seeing the roof covered needs a repair. Thus, the life-size structure of the maiden was proudly standing at the center, welcoming the guest to tour the area. As the husband and I continued walking, I spotted this;

This statue of Buddha was one frequently visited as it gives outside-the-country vibes. At the entrance, it was decorated with a Lion and a Merlion like Singapore.

A few steps at the stairs were going straight center where you can have a closer view of Buddha and like a viewing deck.

We took a few photos as a couple for remembrance, and also, I was thinking of creating a video of all our travels this year. For a while, we stay in there to take some rest and, at the same time, enjoy looking around.

Saw this golden coconut tree only a few steps down. Looking at it, it was so healthy, and the fruits seemed perfect to quench my thirst. I asked the staff if we could get some for free, and I was surprised when he answered, "Sure, just make sure to keep safe." That was the problem; hubby doesn't know how to climb up to get some fresh buko. He grew up in the city, so, sad to say, we didn't get some!

Looking at this fantastic green view, I couldn't help but admire nature. How it never fails to amaze me at the same time, gives a refreshing feeling.

How about these cottages shaped like apples? Aren't these cute? Now I was thinking, perhaps if it's only the two of us, I would love to stay in here. But since we have energetic toddlers? He couldn't be.

And I saw this pathway leading somewhere, and since I wanted to ensure I got everything, I started walking. Let me check what was in there.

Aw, 😢, I guessed this is also the part where the management failed to maintain.

Though I overheard that the owner already sold this property, that means new management. The possessor may have enough capital to start the renovations. Now that the economy is slowly getting better, plus the resort's perfect location? In no time, they could give an ROI.

Typical, let's go, heard the husband calling me. Okay, I am coming.

Looking at how far we need to walk, I am tired already. If not that I wanted to go to the castle there is no way I would pass in here.

Almost in there; I can already see a glimpse of it! Hey, did you spotted Hulk?

Are you mad, Hulk? Or just guarding around? I hope you are not as I wanted to pass by.

Oh, the Marvel heroes are complete!

What about the Castle? What happened? It seemed no one was in there. Isn't this one of the crowded areas considering these heroes?

So this is again a part of what wasn't maintained? Please take a look; it seemed it needed a re-painting. I expect kids running around here as they can't wait for their turns taking photos and acting like Rapunzel at the castle.

But did you notice? Trees were trimmed in the area so as not to look like a bush. The management is trying their best not to lose the beauty of the place. It may only need time, and boom! This resort would surely bounce back how magnificent it was before the pandemic.

Who wouldn't be intrigued to visit the Castleif you were standing from afar?
