I traveled and strolled around the Grand Canal Venice; nope, it's not Italy but in the Philippines.

I've seen photos of this place on Facebook many times, so I got intrigued to pay a visit. Also, I was bored in our dorm as all my housemates went home. Rather than stay in bed all day, I decided to get up. This happened after I had this blog.

Venice Grand Canal, nope it's not in Italy but in McKinley Hill Dr, Taguig, 1630 Metro Manila, Philippines. It was located right in the city, or one of the progressive ones.

Trivia

This tourist attraction the same time shopping center was developed by the Megamall Corporation in 2015. Italy inspired the architecture, one of the romantic cities. It was a replica of the Grand Canal. It also offers a modern way of shopping and, at the same time, gives the outside of the country vibes. Source

What are the things to do in Venice Mckinley?

You can walk around and feel the lovey-dovey ambiance together with your partner or family.

As I was approaching the Grand Canal, I was greeted by this lady wearing a cosplay (I am not sure for the exact term to refer.). Who is the character she portrays?

Several tourists took a photo with her as indeed she is captivating. With her moves like dancing ballerina in a jewelry box I saw. Her hands were so graceful.
I am a photographer for several families and couples, yet only one offered to photograph me. (I thought none would.

This is cool.

Many people like me wander around and stay for a while right at the railings.

Most of the crowds were in a group of friends, family, and couples. Solo like me was only a few.

I was trying to look for the best spot to stand to get the full view, and I was brought by my feet here.

This bridge was built between the Grand Canal and connecting both buildings. It is not only a bridge and one of the perfect places to stand if you want to take some photos with that background. On both metal railings, love locks were attached.

Whoever owned these padlocks, I hope their relationship grows stronger.

Everyone was busy taking photos, and I was not tall, so I patiently waited for enough space at the railings. It was worth to wait.

Since it was past eleven in the morning, only a few people were trying the gondola and swan ride. The sun might not peak, but still, you can feel the heat.

Did you notice? Even the establishment's name is written in Italian.

Ponte Amore I know amore means love, but Ponte? Does anyone translate?

Well, if you think this is already the best spot, it wasn't. As I continue strolling around, I reach the 3rd floor. Here is the view I got.

Not only the Grand Canal but also the building architecture that was designed to complete the vibe. Those light bulbs hung across and got my attention. My mind starts to wander, and the best time to go here is at twilight. Then, as the lights illuminate, imagine walking around with the love of your life in a romantic city.

Not only strolling around, you can enjoy the Gondola ride while watching the sunset.

After which, you can may Italian cuisine with a wide variety of choices. Want it in fine or alfresco dining?

Is that all? Well, if you happen to visit here earlier for the sunset, then maybe you can try the Pigeon Feeding.

I am still determining the daytime schedule, but it was four to five in the afternoon. The feeds cost $0.35, enough to have a wonderful experience.

I was trying to coax these pigeons so they would come nearer, but then some kids were excited. They can't contain their movements, resulting in these birds flying away from time to time.
