My Road to Gold I League + My Card Collection Optimization: I upgraded Akane to level 3!
The more time passes, the more I like the new Ranked System!.
The new Ranked System introduced so many changes with the goal of simplifying the game dynamics and the removal of card level league caps was certainly the most important change to achieve this goal of simplification.
In the old Ranked System I was playing in the Modern Format Silver leagues and could not use the maximum potential of my maximum level cards and I had no incentive to upgrade cards beyond the level I could use in the Silver leagues.
Now, in the new Ranked System, I can use my maximum level cards and I can choose my purchase/upgrade goals by looking at the statistics and maximum level of each card without having to make reasoning and evaluations based on the level of the league I play in.
Thanks to my top level cards and thanks to the new Ranked System my game results continue to improve and my short term game goal no longer seems unattainable but definitely within my reach!
In fact, my game goal that I have been chasing for 5 seasons and never achieved after the Rebellion set was released is: **terminate Splinterlands seasons at least in Modern Format's Gold I league!
In the current season I started from the Silver III league and am now in the Gold II league of the Modern Format with a rating = 2280 points.
There are still 13 days and 17 hours left until the end of the season, and my probability of finishing the season at least in Gold I league is much higher than in previous seasons.
In the first season when the new Ranked System was introduced, season 130, I improved my win rate by +9.43%:
- win rate season 129: 42.53%
- win rate season 130: 51.96%
In the current season, my win rate has improved even more: 55.81% = +13.29% compared to my win rate in the last season I played with the old ranked system.
I am finally getting a good amount of Gold chests every day instead of the Silver chests I was earning when the old ranked system was active, and my SPS token rewards from battles won are finally over 1 SPS! :)
Yesterday March 19, 2024 I earned 11 Gold chests and gained 72.92 SPS from my battle victories.
In a single day of season 131, I gained from my battle victories almost 1/3 of the total gain in SPS tokens that I accumulated in season 129 when the old ranked system was active.
Thanks to the new ranked system, my path to 100K SPS staked has also accelerated nicely!
The new ranked system has also changed my strategy of optimizing my card collection which is now heavily focused on increasing the number of maximum level cards that can be used in Modern Format.
In my Chaos Legion + Riftwatchers + Rebellion card collection I have 79 maximum level monster cards but I only have 6 maximum level summoners.
With 79 maximum level monster cards I have a wide range of choices for my battles but with more maximum level summoners I could have more competitiveness in battle and for this reason my main and priority upgrade goals are related precisely to summoner type cards.
The summoner I would like to add to my card collection soon is Maximum level Akane.
I chose Akane as my main upgrade target because it is in my opinion the most versatile summoner in the Rebellion set and the ability to assign the Ambush ability to two cards after seeing and evaluating the opponent's cards is a great advantage in battle.
My positive evaluation of Akane is also confirmed by the rating of the Splinterguide site, which assigns Akane the highest rating: 10 out of 10
Over the past few days I have been making progress toward my upgrade goal and have purchased through BIDs 6 BCX from Akane.
I now have Akane level 3 + 1 BCX in my collection and need to purchase another 4 BCX to complete my upgrade goal.
My purchase offer for 4 BCX of Akane is the highest in the market and I hope to achieve the ugrade to the highest level soon.
I also have other Bids pending to make two more upgrades:
- General Sloan: level 6 -> level 8 (I have 55 BCXs left to purchase).
- Possibilus the Wise: level 3 -> level 4 (I have 4 BCX left to purchase)
To continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection, I cannot only buy because I only have 117K DEC in my in-game wallet, but I also have to make sacrifices and have to sell some cards that I do not use in battle.
Today I put up for sale at the lowest price per BCX on the market:
- Delwyn Dragonscale level 9.
- Carnage Titan level 2 (Gold Foil).
I chose to sell Delwyn Dragonscale because I play in Modern Format and cannot use this summoner in my battles.
I chose to sell Carnage Titan GF because I have the top level regular version.
In the current season:
- I will try to reach at least Gold league I
- I will try to increase the battle strength of my card collection especially relative to summoner cards
- I will try to increase the amount of DEC at my disposal by selling the cards I do not use in battle
The current season is also the last season in which it will be possible to earn Chests because starting April 2 the Ranked Rewards System will change and Glint = Reward Points will be introduced.
I really like the new Ranked System because it has simplified the game dynamics and because it provides an incentive to level up one's cards, and in fact, it is because of this incentive that I have accelerated my efforts to optimize my collection of usable cards in Modern Format!

Obiettivo lega Gold I + L'ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte: Ho potenziato Akane al livello 3!
Più passa il tempo e più mi piace il nuovo Ranked System!
Il nuovo Ranked System ha introdotto tanti cambiamenti con l'obiettivo di semplificare le dinamiche di gioco e la rimozione del card level league caps è stata certamente la modifica più importante per raggiungere questo obiettivo di semplificazione.
Nel vecchio Ranked System giocavo nelle leghe Silver del Modern Format e non potevo usare il potenziale massimo delle mie carte di massimo livello e non ero incentivato a fare l'upgrade delle carte oltre al livello che potevo utilizzare nelle leghe Silver.
Adesso, nel nuovo Ranked System, posso utilizzare le mie carte di massimo livello e posso scegliere i miei obiettivi di acquisto/upgrade guardando alle statistiche e al livello massimo di ogni carta senza dover fare ragionamenti e valutazioni in base al livello della lega in cui gioco.
Grazie alle mie carte di massimo livello e grazie al nuovo Ranked System i miei risultati di gioco continuano a migliorare e il mio obiettivo di gioco di breve termine non mi sembra più irraggiungibile ma decisamente alla mia portata!
Infatti il mio obiettivo di gioco che inseguo da 5 stagioni e che non ho mai raggiunto dopo che il set Rebellion è stato rilasciato è: terminare le stagioni di Splinterlands almeno in lega Gold I del Modern Format!
Nella stagione in corso sono partito dalla lega Silver III e adesso sono nella lega Gold II del Modern Format con un punteggio di rating = 2280 punti.
Mancano ancora 13 giorni e 17 ore alla fine della stagione e la mia probabilità di terminare la stagione almeno in lega Gold I è molto più alta rispetto alle stagioni precedenti.
Nella prima stagione in cui è stato introdotto il nuovo Ranked System, la stagione 130, ho migliorato il mio win rate del +9.43%:
- win rate season 129: 42.53%
- win rate season 130: 51.96%
Nella stagione in corso il mio win rate è migliorato ancora di più: 55.81% = +13.29% rispetto al mio win rate nell'ultima stagione che ho giocato con il vecchio ranked system.
Finalmente ricevo un buon quantitativo di forzieri Gold ogni giorno invece dei forzieri Silver che guadagnavo quando era attivo il vecchio ranked system e le mie ricompense in token SPS dalle battaglie vinte sono finalmente superiori a 1 SPS! :)
Ieri 19 marzo 2024 ho guadagnato 11 forzieri Gold e ho guadagnato 72.92 SPS dalle mie vittorie in battaglia.
In un solo giorno della stagione 131 ho guadagnato dalle mie vittorie in battaglia quasi 1/3 del guadagno totale in token SPS che ho accumulato nella stagione 129 quando era attivo il vecchio ranked system.
Grazie al nuovo ranked system anche il mio percorso verso i 100K SPS staked ha registrato una buona accellerazione!
Il nuovo ranked system ha modificato la mia strategia di ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte che adesso è fortemente focalizzata sull'aumentare il numero delle carte di massimo livello utilizzabili nel Modern Format.
Nella mia collezione di carte Chaos Legion + Riftwatchers + Rebellion ho 79 carte mostro di massimo livello ma ho solo 6 evocatori di massimo livello.
Con 79 carte mostro di massimo livello ho un ampio ventaglio di scelta per le mie battaglie ma con più evocatori di massimo livello potrei avere una maggiore competitività in battaglia e per questo motivo i miei obiettivi di upgrade principali e prioritari sono relativi proprio alle carte di tipo evocatore.
L'evocatore che vorrei aggiungere presto alla mia collezione di carte è Akane di livello massimo.
Ho scelto Akane come mio obiettivo principale di upgrade perchè è secondo me l'evocatore più versatile del set Rebellion e la possibilità di assegnare l'abilità Ambush a due carte dopo aver visto e valutato le carte avversarie è un ottimo vantaggio in battaglia.
La mia valutazione positiva di Akane è confermata anche dalla valutazione del sito Splinterguide che assegna ad Akane il rating massimo: 10 su 10
Negli ultimi giorni ho fatto dei passi in avanti e ho acquistato tramite delle offerte di acquisto BID 6 BCX di Akane.
Adesso ho Akane di livello 3 + 1 BCX nella mia collezione e ho bisogno di acquistare altri 4 BCX per completare il mio obiettivo di upgrade.
La mia offerta di acquisto per 4 BCX di Akane è la più alta sul mercato e spero di raggiungere presto l'ugrade al massimo livello.
Ho anche in corso altre offerte di acquisto Bid per fare altri due upgrade:
- General Sloan: livello 6 -> livello 8 (mi mancano 55 BCX da acquistare)
- Possibilus the Wise: livello 3 -> livello 4 (mi mancano 4 BCX da acquistare)

- cercherò di raggiungere almeno la lega Gold I
- cercherò di aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte soprattutto relativamente alle carte evocatore
- cercherò di aumentare il quantitativo di DEC a mia disposizione vendendo le carte che non uso in battaglia
La stagione in corso è anche l'ultima stagione in cui sarà possibile guadagnare i Chests perchè a partire dal 2 aprile il Ranked Rewards System cambierà e saranno introdotti i Glint = Reward Points.
Il nuovo Ranked System mi piace molto perchè ha semplificato le dinamiche di gioco e perchè incentiva ad aumentare il livello delle proprie carte e infatti è proprio grazie a questo incentivo che ho accellerato la mia attività di ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format!

Ciao @stefano.massari al momento è possibile solo convertire i DEC in Grain dal sito di Splinterlands ma è una scelta che sconsiglio in modo assoluto perchè non conveniente.
Il Grain può essere solo scambiato P2P sul canale server discord di Splinterlands riservato ai trades ma il team di Splinterlands sta lavorando per rilasciare un market GRAIN-DEC che dovrebbe risolvere la scocciatura attuale per chi ha GRAIN da vendere di perdere tanto tempo ad accordarsi P2P...

Ciao @stefano.massari Io ho settato le mie lands per utilizzare quasi tutto il Grain per sodisfare i miei workers nella land che produce SPS. Anche io ho un piccolo surplus di grano ma lo venderò quando sarà implementato il mercato e li venderò per DEC ad altri giocatori. Per il momento puoi venderli in cambio di DEC p2p ma per me è un grosso dispendio di tempo accordarsi con altri giocatori e per questo motivo preferisco aspettare ;)

I am glad that it's working out for you. I got pushed down to the lower Silver league but that does seem to be where my deck can compete in. I was hoping to see the max level decks disappear but it looks like there are still quite a few of them in the lower silver leagues.
Hi my friend, in my opinion in this new system it is better to have few high level cards than many mid level cards and for that in my opinion you should think about selling some to raise the level of others ;)
