If you are a Splinterlands player like me today, September 19, 2023, you displayed the following message screen after logging in.

Today the terms and conditions of my favorite blockchain game changed and I am very happy about this change because in the Ownership; Restrictions section in the terms and conditions the following part was added:

On July 25, 2023, anti-bots measures were introduced in the Modern Format.
The anti-bots measures have produced positive effects on the experience of real players who have seen their enjoyment and also their rewards in SPS tokens for each battle won increase as you can clearly see from the data from the Reward Pool Statistics tool in the screenshot below.

The anti-bots measures restored importance to real players but did not solve all the problems of real players because in the Modern Format it was still possible to use battle helpers which, although they do not have the level of automation of a bots, still allow their user to have an advantage over a player who plays manually and selects cards to send into battle without the help of automatic or semi-automatic tools.

With the latest change introduced to the terms and conditions, battle helpers have also been banned.

So starting today, September 19, 2023, in Modern Format ranked battles, tournament battles and Brawls battles it is no longer possible to use Bots and Battle Helpers.

Those who regularly read my posts know well my highly negative opinion about allowing the use of automations in a game that has gameplay at its core like Splinterlands.

I don't want to repeat myself in this post as well, but in summary and in my opinion, allowing the use of bots in a game is equivalent to progressively destroying the pillars of the game, which are always and only the real players who love to play and enjoy taking their time to play.

Real players must always be given the highest consideration in any web 2.0 or web 3.0 game otherwise the future of that game is put at great risk.

If you would like to know in detail my opinions and thoughts on bots you can read two posts that I have published in the past which you will find at the following two links and which I will continue to share often in the future with the goal of raising awareness among Splinterlands players on the subject of bots until bots are completely eliminated from Splinterlands.

Splinterlands without bots is a dream of mine because Splinterlands is my favorite blockchain-based game and because I have much more fun if I know that my opponent is a real player like me and not a cold, emotionless bot....

So I am very happy that battle helpers have also been banned in the Modern Format and I am also very curious to see:

• the effect of the new terms and conditions on my game results in ranked battles and brawls
• how Splinterlands will enforce these terms and conditions.

Theoretically without battle helpers the game rewards of real players should increase as it did due to the introduction of the anti-bots measures in Modern Format.

I consider the change that occurred today to be another important step in the right direction and toward a future with better prospects for Splinterlands.

I enjoy playing Splinterlands battles and I also enjoy increasing the battle strength of my card collection, and the elimination of battle helpers from Modern Format is an added incentive for me to continue improving my card collection.

I will conclude this post by sharing my progress in upgrading my collection of cards that can be used in Modern Format ranked battles.

In my collection I have:

• 16 top-level legendary cards that I can use in Modern Format

Today I am happy because I can increase the number of my maximum level legendary cards that can be used in Modern Format from 16 to 18 because thanks to the purchase offers that I had made and shared in my previous posts, I have purchased all the BCXs that I needed to increase to the maximum level:

• QUEEN MYCELIA: level 3 -> level 4

Queen Mycelia is among the nature element cards that I consider most useful in battle, and with the addition of the Rust ability it will become an even more useful card for me especially in battles with little mana available and with the Armored Up ruleset.

• JARED SCAR: level 3 -> level 4

Jared Scar is a less versatile card than Queen Mycelia but when the battle rule is Melee Mayeem or Super Sneak it is almost always one of my first choices.

Just today I used level 3 Jared Scar in a battle with the Super Sneak rule.

During the third round my opponent still had all his cards in play while I was left with only two cards including Jared Scar in first position.

Thanks to the Bloodlust ability Jared Scar eliminated 5 out of my opponent's 6 cards:

• started the battle with 6 attack points and 2 speed points
• ended the battle with 17 attack points and 11 speed points

In the transition from level 3 to level 4 Jared Scar acquires an extra attack point (6->7) and becomes a much more useful card in battle.

I also made progress toward my Brighton Bloom summoner upgrade goal.

Today I purchased 5 BCX through a BID purchase offer.

I still have 9 more BCXs left to upgrade to level 6.

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection, and await with much excitement the start of Phase 1.5 of lands and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

Niente più BOT e BATTLE HELPERS nelle battaglie del formato moderno, nelle Brawls e nei tornei! Un altro passo nella giusta direzione!

Se sei un giocatore di Splinterlands come me oggi 19 settembre 2023 hai visualizzato la seguente schermata di avviso dopo l'operazione di login.

Oggi sono cambiati i termini e le condizioni del mio gioco blockchain preferito e sono molto contento di questo cambiamento perchè nella sezione Ownership; Restrictions nei termini e condizioni è stata aggiunta la seguente parte:

Il 25 luglio 2023 sono state introdotte le misure anti-bots nel Modern Format.
Le misure anti-bots hanno prodotto effetti positivi sull'esperienza dei giocatori reali che hanno visto aumentare il loro divertimento e anche le loro ricompense in token SPS per ogni battaglia vinta come puoi chiaramente vedere dai dati del tool Reward Pool Statistics nello screenshot seguente.

Le misure anti-bots hanno restituito importanza ai giocatori reali ma non hanno risolto tutti i problemi dei giocatori reali perchè nel Modern Format era ancora possibile utilizzare i battle helpers che, anche se non hanno il livello di automazione di un bots, permettono comunque al loro utilizzatore di avere un vantaggio rispetto ad un giocatore che gioca manualmente e che seleziona le carte da mandare in battaglia senza l'aiuto di tools automatici o semi-automatici.

Con l'ultima modifica introdotta ai termini e condizioni anche i battle helpers sono stati vietati.

Quindi a partire da oggi 19 settembre 2023 nelle ranked battles del Modern Format, nelle battaglie dei tornei e nelle battaglie delle Brawls non è più possibile utilizzare Bots e Battle Helpers.

Chi legge regolarmente i miei post conosce bene la mia opinione altamente negativa sul consentire l'utilizzo delle automazioni in un gioco cha ha un gameplay alla base come Splinterlands.

Non voglio ripetermi anche in questo post ma, in sintesi e secondo la mia opinione, consentire l'utilizzo dei bots in un gioco equivale a distruggere i pilastri del gioco che sono sempre e soltanto i giocatori reali che amano giocare e si divertono a impiegare il loro tempo per giocare.

I giocatori reali devono avere sempre la massima considerazione in qualunque gioco web 2.0 o web 3.0 altrimenti il futuro di quel gioco è messo a forte rischio.

Se vuoi conoscere in dettaglio le mie opinioni e le mie considerazioni sui bots puoi leggere due post che ho pubblicato in passato e che trovi ai due links seguenti e che continuerò a condividere spesso anche in futuro con l'obiettivo di sensibilizzare i giocatori di Splinterlands sull'argomento bots fino a quando i bots non saranno eliminati completamente da Splinterlands.

Splinterlands senza bots è un mio sogno perchè Splinterlands è il mio gioco basato su blockchain preferito e perchè mi diverto molto di più se so che il mio avversario è un giocatore reale come me e non un bot freddo e senza emozioni....

Sono quindi molto contento che anche i battle helpers siano stati vietati nel Modern Format e sono anche molto curioso di vedere:

• l'effetto dei nuovi termini e condizioni sui miei risultati di gioco nelle ranked battles e nelle brawls
• come Splinterlands farà rispettare questi termini e condizioni.

In linea teorica senza battle helpers le ricompense di gioco dei giocatori reali dovrebbero aumentare come è avvenuto per effetto dell'introduzione delle misure antibots nel Modern Format.

Considero il cambiamento avvenuto oggi un ulteriore e importante passo in avanti verso la giusta direzione e verso un futuro con prospettive migliori per Splinterlands.

Mi piace giocare le battaglie di Splinterlands e mi piace anche aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e l'eliminazione dei battle helpers dal Modern Format è per me un ulteriore incentivo a continuare a migliorare la mia collezione di carte.

Concludo questo post condividendo i miei progressi nel potenziamento della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nelle ranked battles del Modern Format.

Nella mia collezione ho:

• 16 carte leggendarie di massimo livello che posso utilizzare nel Modern Format

Oggi sono contento perchè posso portare il numero delle mie carte leggendarie di massimo livello utilizzabili nel Modern Format da 16 a 18 perchè grazie alle offerte di acquisto che avevo effettuato e condiviso nei miei precedenti post ho acquistato tutti i BCX che mi mancavano per portare al massimo livello:

• QUEEN MYCELIA: livello 3 -> livello 4

Queen Mycelia è tra le carte dell'elemento natura che considero più utili in battaglia e con l'aggiunta dell'abilità Rust diventerà una carta ancora più utile per me specialmente nelle battaglie con pochi mana disponibili e con la ruleset Armored Up.

• JARED SCAR: livello 3 -> livello 4

Jared Scar è una carta meno versatile di Queen Mycelia ma quando la regola di battaglia è Melee Mayeem o Super Sneak è quasi sempre una delle mie prime scelte.

Proprio oggi ho utilizzato Jared Scar di livello 3 in una battaglia con la regola Super Sneak.

Durante il terzo round il mio avversario aveva ancora tutte le sue carte in gioco mentre io sono rimasto con solo due carte tra cui Jared Scar in prima posizione.

Grazie all'abilità Bloodlust Jared Scar ha eliminato 5 carte su 6 del mio avversario:

• ha iniziato la battaglia con 6 punti di attacco e 2 punti velocità
• ha terminato la battaglia con 17 punti di attacco e 11 punti velocità

Nel passaggio dal livello 3 al livello 4 Jared Scar acquisisce un punto di attacco in più (6->7) e diventa una carta molto più utile in battaglia.

Ho fatto dei progressi anche verso il mio obiettivo di upgrade dell'evocatore Brighton Bloom.

Oggi ho acquistato 5 BCX tramite un offerta di acquisto BID.

Mi mancano ancora altri 9 BCX per fare l'upgrade al livello 6.

Ho scelto di potenziare Brighton Bloom perchè nelle battaglie che hanno la ruleset Earthquake può fare quasi sempre la differenza.

Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
