Blockchain-based games are one of my passions and I am an active player on several blockchain games.
I have a natural preference for games created and developed on the Hive blockchain because Hive is by far my favorite blockchain project.
In fact, I'm an active player on Splinterlands, Dcrops, Rising Star, Hashkings, Dcity, Ape Mining Club, Splinterforge, Infernal Coliseum, and Bang!Defence.
In addition to playing the games I listed above, I have also decided to invest in game projects that are still in development and therefore not yet playable such as Muterra, Genesis League Goals, Splinterlands Tower Defence and Wrestling Organization Online.
Of all the games I have listed above I have written at least one post on my Hive blog except for Wrestling Organization Online which is the protagonist of my post today.
In fact, today I want to share my investment in Wrestiling Organization Online and I also want to share my participation in the Cartel purchase pool that will allow me to purchase 3 WOO Lands.
But first I want to introduce Wrestling Organization Online and I want to give some references to those of my readers who do not know this project and want to evaluate/know about it.
What is Wrestling Organization Online
Wrestling Organization Online, codenamed WOO is the project of a play-to-earn game based on NFT of a managerial type.
The theme of the game is Wrestling and players, when the game will be playable, will be able to build their own Wrestling Organization by purchasing wrestlers, upgrading facilities, and competing with other players to earn the game's native WOO tokens.

My investment in WOO
Although this is my first post on WOO my investment on WOO started seven months ago (July 8, 2022) when I purchased on Hive Engine 30 WOOALPHA tokens which I paid 1.712224 SWAP.HIVE per token for a total of 51.37 SWAP.HIVE
The WOOALPHA tokens are the tokenized version of the alpha packs of WOO.
There have been several presales and the last one ended with a sell-out in less than two minutes.
Today the only way to purchase a WOO Alpha pack is on markets outside the game and the current value of 1 WOOALPHA is:
- 5.99921200 SWAP.HIVE = $2.7014872 (Lowest Ask)
- 3.000000 SWAP.HIVE = $1.3509210 (Highest Bid)
Thanks to my 30 WOOALPHA tokens I participate in the airdrop of WOO tokens every day and receive an amount of 27,535 WOO per day.
All the WOO tokens that I have received to date I have been staking at more or less regular time intervals and today I have a total amount of 19753.34 WOO staked which allows me to get an APR of 38.92%.
In the following graph you can see the value trend of WOO tokens expressed in SWAP.HIVE.
Every blockchain-based game is also an investment, and this is especially true for games in development and therefore not yet playable.
For all the games I have invested in, I like to monitor the trend in the value of the tokens linked to the game and I like to monitor the value of my investment.
In the table below you can see the value of the WOO assets I own with an indication of the cost in SWAP.HIVE that I incurred to purchase them and the current market value (Highest Bid) in SWAP.HIVE and in dollars.
Although WOO is not yet playable I am satisfied that I chose to invest in WOO because I achieved the following financial results:
- profit: +44.76 SWAP.HIVE = $20.19
- ROI: +87.14%
My next purchase goals
I have decided to continue investing in WOO and my next purchase goals are 3 WOO Lands.
On February 14, 2022 there will be a Land Sale of WOO.
The Land Sale will be divided into two parts: pre-sale and general sale.
Only whitelisted users will be able to participate in the presale as specified in this post: WOO Territory Whitelist Sale Announcement.
There will be 9000 City packs for sale and each pack will contain one WOO Land.
Each City pack will cost:
- 20$
- $15 + 500 WOO burned
With the assets in my possession I cannot participate in the presale but only in the general sale but thanks to the Cartel project I can participate in a purchase pool and that is what I will do.

I have 62.37 CARTEL in my Hive Engine Wallet and therefore can get the maximum discount.
I decided to buy 3 City pack and sent 48 SWAP.HBD to the account @cartel-woo
Today I did not have SWAP.HBD in my wallet on Hive Engine but only HBD on my Hive wallet and to do the HBD->SWAP.HBD conversion I used @oneup-cartel's Swap service (https://swap.oneup-cartel.com/) which allowed me to do the conversion by paying only 0.05% of fee (% fee for those with 60+ CARTEL).

Anche se questo è il mio primo post su WOO il mio investimento su WOO è iniziato sette mesi fa (8 luglio 2022) quando ho acquistato su Hive Engine 30 token WOOALPHA che ho pagato 1.712224 SWAP.HIVE per pacco per un totale di 51.37 SWAP.HIVE
I token WOOALPHA sono la versione tokenizzata dei pacchi alpha di WOO.

Oggi l'unico modo per acquistare un pacco Alpha di WOO è sui mercati esterni al gioco e il valore attuale di 1 WOOALPHA è di:

Grazie ai miei 30 token WOOALPHA partecipo ogni giorno all'airdrop dei token WOO e ricevo un quantitativo di 27.535 WOO al giorno.
Tutti i token WOO che ho ricevuto fino ad oggi li ho messi in stake ad intervalli di tempo più o meno regolari e oggi ho un quantitativo totale di 19753.34 WOO staked che mi permettono di ottenere un APR del 38.92%.

Ogni gioco basato su blockchain è anche un investimento e questo vale in particolare per i giochi in fase di sviluppo e quindi non ancora giocabili.
Per tutti i giochi in cui ho investito mi piace monitorare l'andamento del valore dei tokens collegati al gioco e mi piace monitorare il valore del mio investimento.
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere il valore degli assets di WOO in mio possesso con l'indicazione del costo in SWAP.HIVE che ho sostenuto per l'acquisto e l'attuale valore di mercato (Highest Bid) in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari.
Anche se WOO non è ancora giocabile sono soddisfatto di aver scelto di investire su WOO perchè ho ottenuto i seguenti risultati finanziari:

Peccato che tramite la pool dell'Oneup Cartel non si possa beneficiare dello sconto di 5$ inviando anche i 500 WOO... ci avrei davvero fatto un pensierino se no! Da quello che hanno annunciato sinora, sembra che le LANDs avranno una funzione fondamentale all'interno del gioco, per cui sicuramente averne almeno una sarebbe davvero utile.
