They say that animals are animals and should be treated with respect, but they will still be animals. In general, that may be true, but for others, that's a bit of a departure from reality. I have been an animal lover since I was a child, I have been more inclined to dogs than cats, for health reasons more than anything else.

Throughout (or short) my life, I have had many dogs, most of them Schnauzers. My first dog was a miniature Schnauzer given to a friend and I who lived together in college. She was about 2 years old at the time, she was already educated, in fact she was trained to compete.

After her, came her descendants, and therefore I always had the same breed. At one point I graduated and the last one, Trixie, I gave her to my mom when she was 3 months old (today she is 15 years old). In Chile, together with my partner, we decided to adopt a puppy, which is the one you always see in my publications, Luna. She is very loving, but above all she is very patient, as you can see in these pictures, I can kiss her for a long time and she will stay like that until I decide to let her go. Also, she has something that lends itself to be on top of her caressing and kissing her, I think it comes from her tranquility, in fact, I have a friend who sometimes tells me to leave her with him because it helps him to sleep and relax. Once he went to bed with her and they slept cuddled together, he told me he hadn't rested that way for a long time.

Luego de ella, vinieron sus descendientes, y por ende siempre seguía teniendo de la misma raza. Llegó un momento que ya me gradué y la última, Trixie, se la regalé a mi mamá con 3 meses de edad (hoy en día tiene 15 años). En Chile, junto con mi pareja, decidimos adoptar un perrito, que es la que siempre ven en mis publicaciones, Luna. Ella es muy amorosa, pero sobre todas las cosas es muy paciente, así como ven en estas fotos, puedo estar besándola por mucho rato y se quedará así hasta que yo decida soltarla. Además, ella tiene algo que se presta para que uno esté encima de ella acariciándola y besándola, creo que viene de su tranquilidad, de hecho, tengo un amigo que a veces me dice que se la deje porque lo ayuda a dormir y a relajarse. Una vez se acostó con ella y durmieron abrazados, me dijo que tenía tiempo sin descansar de esa manera.

I guess it won't be just Luna, maybe any dog that is this calm and laid back will give that sense of peace and tranquility to anyone. So love them and love them, they feel and suffer more than humans and saddest of all, they can't talk. I send them lots of doggy hugs.

Supongo que no será solo Luna, quizás cualquier perro que sea así de tranquilo y flojo, dará esa sensación de paz y tranquilidad a cualquiera. Así que ámenlos y quiéranlos, ellos sientes y sufren más que los humanos y lo más triste de todo, es que no pueden hablar. Les mando muchos abrazos perrunos.
