Happy final year week to me

Heyyy guys. Oh my God it has been a while since I have been on here, I have really missed being here 🥺.These past few weeks have been crazy for me because of the whole final year thing. Being a final year student in a Nigerian university is not easy and I know so many of you can testify of the unnecessary stress your lecturer would put you through just because you are a final year brethren(FYB)😭. Anyways there’s something called final year week in my school. An entire week is dedicated to the final years to appreciate them for the four or five years spent in school.

Let me give you the break down of what happened in my final year week🥰😁

On the first day was uniform day. On this day all the final year of all faculty dress in their various secondary uniform wears. Which is really hilarious 😂😆. Imagine seeing grown up men and Women dressed like as if they were still in school. On that day we really acted as if we were still in secondary school, we went to the assembly ground and sang matching in songs, I was even punished for Late coming 😅. We sang the national anthem, we said the nations pledge and then we matched again really a day I would never forget.

Second on the list which was on Tuesday Jean day and color riot service . Although I didn’t do Jean day because of my lecturer made us stay in class for 5 good hours can you imagine 🤦‍♀️. Once I go to the hostel I was already tired and drained but that wasn’t enough to stop me from going for color riot services!. Color riot service is a very funny one actually 😅. Here we put on different sharp color like for example imagine wearing lemon green top and a pink skirt coupled with brown hat and yellow slippers ( really hilarious). We prayed and thanked the lord for bringing us this far because it was by his grace and mercy that we were able to be alive to witness that day becoming a reality. We also shared testimony of how God was really good to us. It was really an amazing service I laughed ,I danced with My friends. Such an amazing feeling 🥺.

The next day was a Wednesday and it was my old school night 💃. The most anticipated night was old school night and I will tell you why😏. That day I was already feeling really hyped up because I got a new phone 😁 so I was already pumped up about it because I knew I was going to take so many pictures to keep the memories. that day was the day that people from the other campus would arrive.( we haven’t seen theses people since our freshman year) so you can imagine how exciting it would be to see each on the dance floor. Old school night is the night where we all dress like our grannies back in the day to rem where we are coming from. I danced a lot that day. I danced with all my friends I haven’t seen since 100 level. I even saw my ex boyfriend hahaha. but regardless It was really a fun night.
