Birds at wild - Trippy Viva Magentas by LightCaptured

This photo post is about birds.

Trippy birds.

Birds that do stuff we only think we understand.

Entertaining?

I fell in love with the Viva Magenta color, the pronounced color of 2023 by Pantone.
Isn't that color so trippy? Even if you don't agree with me, this color really pushes the imagination and my mind to travel, virtually.

Hence here is this experimental series where I will be bringing you along with me to travel to some of my favorite places and states of mind. Let's call it...

When you take photos with an IR filter, the photos that you get straight from the camera have tones resembles your images. Of course are different, for example the last photo of your post it would be very different if it was used an ir filter.
In the past I did infrared photography.

I've been thinking about converting one of my old cameras, Canon EOS 550D into IR.
It's risky as it's an old one and it would cost me about 300EUR, so I've been hesitation about it.
Considering the world is getting hot and hotter each year, as IR works better when it's hot, I suppose I have to do that soon :D

Thank you!

I suppose that camera has an internal filter which does not allow to detect the IR. I guess that removing this internal filter could be tricky. The majority of modern cameras do not "see the IR".
I used old cameras of the beginning of the 2000's.

We get spectacular results with IR when photographing tropical vegetation.
Best regards.

Yes, that's true. As far as I know, all Canon DSLR cameras have such filter. So these 300 EUR I'd pay are exactly for that - someone to open it carefully, and replace that filter with a specific new wave length glass :)
If it wasn't for that embedded filter, I'd simply by one of those IR filters that gets screwed on the lens filter mount ;)

Bests! :)
