Compressed concept - Trippy Viva Magentas by LightCaptured

Time is a concept that Photography proves.

Thinking more about that, Photography also breaks that concept.

How so?

Now if you take a look at the first photo and then at some of the others, you may notice that, actually in about the same amount of bytes, it stores a completely different amount of time. As the first picture is a long-exposure one, while the others are just "ordinary" travel photos.

I fell in love with the Viva Magenta color, the pronounced color of 2023 by Pantone.
Isn't that color so trippy? Even if you don't agree with me, this color really pushes the imagination and my mind to travel, virtually.

Hence here is this experimental series where I will be bringing you along with me to travel to some of my favorite places and states of mind. Let's call it...

Both long-exposure and "ordinary" are equally interesting and pleasing to the eye.

Thanks a lot, it was an active church yet some parts of it looked like they haven't be touched in centuries.

I loving it , especially the last picture of tower with the bell with the monochrome magenta sky . Thumb up .

An interesting thought, never thought about the content of time in photography ;-))

Do I understand correctly that you converted the photo to monochrome and colored it purple?

Something like that, yes, a concept I've been working on for some time. Thank you!

The color is interesting. But it turns out monochrome. And if you try its combinations with others ... ? Curious :)

Indeed. A great one, not in my style at all and so I am experimenting. Monochromatic. If I add another color, it won't be monochromatic anymore :)
Thank you!

Yes, but purple can be the main one and it's also interesting how it will be combined with others.

True :)
Probably that should be called "duochromatic" :)
Hm, the autocorrection says "dichromatic" ;) So there is such word
