Countryside Magic of Northern Greece

Greece is known by many great things, like its endless paradise beaches, the warmth and hospitality of the local people, the amazing history and rich culture, the olives and the delicious olive oil, the sea food. The list could become really long if I continue to write about all the good things I've seen and experienced there during my several travels.

To be honest, I don't keep a tab on my travels but from the top of my head, and excluding my home country, Greece and Italy are at the top three list of countries I have traveled to, especially those that I visited to take and make photographs :) Somehow, I don't count those I visited for business, like, for instance the USA, where I've been a few times on business trips. Of course, I took some photos there too, but totally not planned and archived on my backup server long time ago...

The Northern parts of Greece are, in my opinion, the less tourist ones. Probably the poorest, I suspect, as the tourism is one of the main pillars of the Greek economy. However, I believe these parts of beautiful Greece are way too much underestimated. And today I am going to provide few visual evidences to prove to you my statement here :)

Check out for yourself - aren't the contours on the backs of the sheep at sunset magical? What about the waves crashing at the fishing boat? Or the horse peacefully eating grass, or the cafeteria lamps covered in cobweb? Of the small churches hidden between the country houses and the fields of corn?

That's pure magic, isn't it?
