Meteora, a sacred place touching skies

I've been blessed few times with the chance and opportunity to travel to Meteora and dip into the divine atmosphere of this holy place.

Photography made that possible.

With a hand on my heart I could honestly admit that if it wasn't for that art, I wouldn't have traveled there at all. I guess most of the times I am a creature of habits and only something extraordinary could push me outside my zone of comfort, sort of speak.

So take a look at my pictures, and tell me, is Meteora such a destination?

Indeed, Meteora in Greece is a sacred place touching skies or I should better say "heavens" here. Don't you think Greeks are blessed to have such place?

Thank you! It is a magical place indeed! Yes, the best thing about it is that apart from the monasteries that are closed in different days of the week, the rest of the area is free to visit at any time. And the big busses with tens of tourists are all gone after 5 PM :)

!giphy thanks
