PhotoFeed Contest - Long Exposure Photography

A couple of unforgettable seconds, with chills and thrills...

A couple of seconds with blistering wind...

A couple of seconds outside, after midnight, at temperatures about -20 C...

At one of the most beautiful fjords near Tromsø, Northern Norway.

Just in case anyone wonders, I have intentionally left the noise inside this picture.

Using strong noise suppression with Astro photography "kills" the most of the stars.

I would like to go to this region in the north one day and watch this wonderful natural phenomenon.

It is indeed a beautiful part of the world and one has to be prepared well for it, especially in the winters ;)

There are several reasons why I will never take a picture like this in my life. 😃 Not because in the first place I would need a photography teacher to stand by me and instruct me in this kind of photography (are you free for that 😎). But due to the climate and any conditions around. First, I can't stand the cold. And being outside shooting something in -20 degrees while my fingers go numb - forget it. And secondly, I don't like the dark, and therefore, I don't practice night photography because of that.
All that's left for me at this point is to simply enjoy what you've created. And it is amazing, as always!

What a wonderful event you managed to capture with your camera!
It was worth the time it took you to take the picture, despite the cold temperatures.
Are you ok after that? I would have at least had the flu if I had done the same thing.

The rushing adrenaline from seeing and capturing it was more than enough to keep me in a perfect condition ;)

Thank you :)
