The artistic streets of Eastern Italy

Walking, browsing or simply getting lost on the unknown (at least from my perspective and knowledge) streets of Eastern Italy is such a big pleasure!

I love so many things there.

It's calm there. There are more people in the summer when the sea resorts and the shores of the beautiful Adriatic Sea welcome everyone on their vacations. However, in the remaining seasons, it is much less overpopulated, compared to other regions of Italy I have been already.

So, usually one could take a rest at quite a scenery place :)

Some may say the architecture there is a bit simpler and less sophisticated, compared to the bigger cities. That doesn't make it less beautiful, right?

People there create and show art in their specific way.

Take this public parking slot for example. I bet no one in my country would put a pot with blossoming flowers on such a window! Doesn't all that look a bit surreal? It does to me!

Do you see the flying crow in the endless tunnel of arches? ;) That looks to me like a scene from a Sci-Fi novel...

The castles are also different there and have their own architectural style. Strength over all.

Beauty is never forgotten and is always an integral and high priority part of it all.

I suppose you'll agree that would otherwise be quite an ordinary wall. However, this non-functional balcony changes everything!

I am really in love with the narrow stone covered streets and paths in Italy. They could be found everywhere though, not only in the Eastern parts of the country.

Even a simple water canal could be turned into a piece of art.

And last but not least. Check out few details of the room we slept one of thee nights in. Believe it or not, only for EUR 50. Booked in the same day, not two months in advance! It was a room in an former castle, and had been habituated by the princess back then. These are details that can't be seen every day!
