Tuscan Trees - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes
Trees in Tuscany, Italy.
This is so so very specific of this amazing region of Italy.
Even if I somehow get magically and instantly dropped there, it would be a matter of seconds for me, probably milliseconds to realize and tell where I am! All those cypresses, pine and olive trees, planted years, decades, centuries ago along the roads and next to iconic buildings, taken care of of many generations. I was thinking while I was there that even the trees that had been planted by the hand of Mother Nature are in perfect harmony and symphony with those ones, planted by human hands!
Here is a series of my travel photographs that I selected and post-processed today for you so I prove, eventually, my point of view! :)
You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Beautiful photographs. I like the second one with the long row of trees the best. The contrasts and details.
I always found the trees in Italy fascinating, you know instantly it is Italy if you see anywhere photographs from landscapes with the trees. Especially the cypresses. I can’t imagine Italy without them.

I think I've seen few parts of Italy where the landscapes are quite different, for instance the Southern parts of Puglia. Or the regions that are in the Alps or close. I totally agree with you though, those cypresses are iconic! :)
