MCGI Cares Live Event. 17/04/2023

Hello and greetings to every great members of the MCGI Community, it is good to see you guys doing the work of God here, keep it up.

Today I was privileged to participate in the MCGI Cares Live event that was held via zoom today. It was indeed a great time in the presence of God, you can't be in the presence of God and leave thesame way you came.

Important Lesson Learned from today's teaching.

There was so much taught in today's meeting, Bro Eli shared a little message and advice, also Bro Daniel shared some messages and then there was some event and testimonies.

Abstain from all appearance of evil. Bro Daniel told us that as a believer we should never associate ourselves with any evil, let our hands be clean so we do not attract curse from God into our lives. There is no one without problems or challenges, both the rich and the poor, they all have their own struggles and challenges they are all facing, so don't think yours is the worse. Therefore in everything you find yourself doing make sure you do it well, and don't engage in any evil activities, live a righteous and holy life so that you will receive blessings from God.

Avoid taking what will harm your body.
Bro Eli advised us on things we should not take or eat in order to avoid diseases and illness, he warned us about taking too much alcohol, sugary drinks and foods as this will increase our sugar level and cause diseases like kidney and other sickness associated with it. As a Christian we should always be conscious of what we eat and drink, make sure it is healthy, and if it is a drink make sure it is non-alcoholic and not too sugary, watch the level you drink so you didn't get drunk, avoids food that contains too much sugar, remember you need good health to function and do the work of God here on Earth, so always keep it healthy.

It is good to do good.
You can participate in MCGI Cares event without being taught about the act of giving. As a true Christian you must learn how to work in love, and this love is not complete if you do not give to the poor and needy, so anywhere you find yourself make sure you always extend help to those who need it when you can, you can give and support those who are in need of it, that is what define us as a true Christian the ability to always walk in love.

    Most times we are the causes of the health challenges we go through, God gave us instructions to avoid certain things but out of our human disobedience we often break them and end up causing ourselves harm. I love that instance of taking excess sugar and drinking of alcohol, we know how toxic these things are.yet many people don't want to abstain from them, at the end, the fall sick. That is not God's will for them but they invited it upon themselves...
