My Actifit Report Card: July 2 2020
I played an eighteen basket round of disc golf this morning with my son. The rain had finally stopped but it was a bit windy and wet everywhere.
My son was having a rather bad round with a lot of difficulty putting. I ended up winning by a wide margin, which was rather unusual. He didn't feel like playing a second round so we wandered a bit by the river and looked for discs.
I was still trying to find the three discs I lost on hole eight. The river is still running very high and I could not see anything in the water.
I did find a nice Thunderbird disc in premium Champion plastic. I like these discs a lot although I don't typically throw them much. Now I have three of them. There was no name on the one that I found so I'm going to keep it.
I think this disc might work well on hole eight so now that I have a bunch of spares I might try throwing it backhand in the wind. The problem here is that with the typical left to right wind that blows towards the river, if a backhand turns and burns it will go a long way out in the water. (That's what happened to my Claymore but it was too understable to fight back at all.) The Thunderbird disc should be stable enough to fade back into the crosswind. (Hopefully, LOL.)

I personally like the first photo a bit better but it is fun to try out different things and the darker background is nice too.

Thank you! If there is no name on the disc it is pretty hard to get it back to anyone. I do like the flower too and it keeps coming back year after year. The seeds plant themselves over the winter. I really can't remember what it was called.

It's called love in the mist! They are absolutely gorgeous looking! You can buys seeds from them online. I have seen them before.

I love your love in the mist flowers! They are such a stunningly beautiful flower. Granted, I love flowers, but, these are always exotic looking to me. They also remind me a little bit of purple passion flowers, which I pulled a picture off Google for. Not exactly, but perhaps the exoticness of it.
That #8 has really given you a run for your money. Too bad everyone loses these things. It is a good thing you find others so that you can keep your inventory up!

I'm up for the challenge of hole eight. I actually birdied it today with my flippy Beast disc during a wicked cross wind. (But, things do go wrong sometimes, lol)
You are totally killing it!! That is awesome! They are gorgeous flowers and I love them. I may order some seeds as I think they would look good over at the shore house and they dont mind the sandy soil.

There are different areas in lockdown and different levels of it. Where I am at the parks are opened up so long as social distance is kept.

There sure are a lot of flowers blooming most of the year. Disc golf sure has kept me active lately. I've even lost a bit of weight and needed to cut another hole in my belt to keep my pants up. It was getting rather embarrassing with folks I don't know suggesting I, "Buy a pair of suspenders." LOL :D
