My Actifit Report Card: August 6 2020
It was raining and colder this morning so I skipped my usual morning disc golf and went instead at around lunch time. By that time the weather was much nicer and I played a quick round of nine holes at the local course.
I scored three over par and was having some issues getting a good grip on the new Champion Beast disc that I found recently. I've found that new Champion plastic is harder to grip when wet but it does get better as the disc is played with more and worn in.
I've found that some of the types of plastic feel better after they have been played with a bit. Today I was mostly trying to play with some new midrange and driver discs to break them in a bit better.
I also took the puppy dog for a couple of longer walks today. He just loves to go now and enjoys barking at each passing car. I've been trying to cure him of this because he also runs out in the street after them.
I took this picture today of my indoor garden and enhanced it a bit in software:
The orchids flowers are on the way out but a few of them are still blooming. The ginger has grown several inches now and looks like it will open a first leaf. The celery that I initially planted is not looking so nice any more. I'm not sure if it started any roots. The second piece of celery is looking much better but if it doesn't root it may start going downhill too. I'm just trying them for fun to see how they do.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down. Just kidding. It's not Monday it's not raining here. It just sounded like something good to say. I see you got out to do some disc golfing anyway despite the rain but the dog did get an extra long walk so bonus points for that. I'm pretty sure that chasing after cars would be next in line, so I hope you can find a way to curb that behavior. I never had to throw the chase cars but I have had barkers.
That flower is absolutely stunning. Your photography has really cinched up a notch. All of your photographs are so much improved. Not that they were ever bad but it looks amazing. I am pretty sure the celery does better when you put it in the ground as opposed to a pot but I'm only going from my experience. Well I hope you have a nice weekend Ann's keep the rain at Bay so that we can get some good disc golf thing going on.

It's raining some more today but that didn't stop us from getting out into it. The discs get a bit wet but if you carry a towel and umbrella that helps.

What software did you use to enhance the flowers?
Oh, that's a trade secret, lol. (Dynamic Auto Painter. It's probably the only reason I sometimes run Windows software but I should get back into it - I have a bunch of high dollar programs.)
Damn... running Windows for a program. I know the feeling. A few weeks ago I had to run Windows on VM because I wasn't able to run a tetha edge catcher node on Linux.
