My Actifit Report Card: October 29 2020
My son and I were playing disc golf out at our favorite course and were joined by a friend part way through the first round. We ended up playing a couple of rounds together.
We all were playing pretty well today. I had some issues on the second round with my putting but was doing really good, (for me) on the first round. One of these days I would really like to be able to make some of the longer putts with good accuracy.
The new Whippet disc that I found yesterday is working really nice for a forehand flick throw. I'm not so found of it on a backhand though. I think I will keep it in the bag for now. It is really overstable and I can put it pretty close to the basket on the a couple of holes that were giving me more issues with other discs. It also seems to work really nice into a headwind.
I'm bagging one more Shryke disc too so now I'm back up to twenty one discs. My most understable Shryke disc is taking the place of the lost Sword disc. I think I'll get another Sword disc if my son puts out another order for discs.
I would go back to using my Tern but they are all too understable except my Champion plastic one which I don't like to throw this time of year because of the cold and wet weather. It works okay but it also hides under leaves really well because it is partly clear and has a kind of camouflage pattern on it.
After we were done another friend texted me up saying he was going to be at the course soon. I almost went back out but I thought that it would not be good for me to play that much. I'm concerned a bit about overdoing it because it takes a long time to heal once it happens.
Three feathers and three leaves out on the disc golf course today:
I've been seeing a lot of white feathers recently.
