Located in the most modern part of the city, on the west bank of the Almendares River, on Calle 49 C of the Playa municipality, which passes under the Almendares Bridge, it is a very beautiful and shady road, covering around 7 linear kilometers of thick and beautiful vegetation.

Buenas amigos de esta gran familia de Hive, quiero mostrarle un lugar sorprendente, que en especial a mi me transmite mucha paz, El Bosque de la Habana. Enclavado en la parte más moderna de la ciudad, en la ribera oeste del Rio Almendares, en la calle 49 C del municipio Playa, la cual pasa por debajo del Puente Almendares, es un camino muy bonito y sombreado, abarca alrededor de 7 kilómetros lineales de una vegetación tupida y hermosa.

At the beginning of my tour of this magical place, I stopped where the gastronomic center "El Lugar" is and right in front there are several paths that cross the forest, you can see a copious vegetation on the banks of the gentle Almendares river, which although its waters they are currently dirty as a result of the dumped waste, government institutions are taking action to clean it up and there are advertisements for all of us to contribute by not throwing waste into it.

Al comenzar mi recorrido por este lugar mágico, me detuve donde está el centro gastronómico "El Lugar" y justo en frente hay varios senderos que atraviesan el bosque, se observa una coposa vegetación a la orilla del manso rio Almendares, que si bien sus aguas están sucias actualmente producto de los desechos arrojados , las instituciones gubernamentales están tomando acciones para el saneamiento del mismo y existen propagandas para que todos contribuyamos no arrojando desechos a él.

My main objective was to reach the Isla Josefina Protected Area located in the lower third of the river, with an extension of 8.92 hectares, in which more than 87 species of plants are found. Mi principal objetivo era llegar al Área Protegida Isla Josefina enclavada en el tercio inferior del río, abarcando una superficie de 8,92 hectáreas, en la cual existen más de 87 especies de plantas. Es un lugar encantador, existe un bello mirador donde se puede apreciar la belleza de la vegetación del lugar y todo el borde del rio, que como en ese lugar se estrecha un poco, corre con un poco más de fuerza, ya que este rio es siempre muy tranquilo.
