youth and coffee [Esp-Eng]
A cordial greeting to all my reader friends, how are you today? This time the theme of my publication is "youth and coffee" because I was thinking about this due to an experience I had recently.
In these times and it has always been heard that many young people do not like or do not like coffee and many times when some families visit you and you offer them coffee and you ask the young people of the family that visits you, if they want a cup of coffee most of the times they tell you that they do not drink coffee, then you have to prepare for them another type of drink.
In my case I believe that it is good what these parents do to take care of their children and that they do not get used to drinking coffee, since it hurts some people, for example in my case three of my children do not drink coffee and the oldest one started to drink it when he was over thirty years old and I never forced them to drink it even when they were small, just because I loved it.
Un cordial saludo a todos mis amigos lectores, ¿cómo están hoy? En esta oportunidad el tema de mi publicación es "la juventud y el café" pues estuve pensando en esto por una experiencia que viví hace poco.
En estos tiempos y siempre se ha oído que a muchos jóvenes no les gusta o le gusta muy poco el café y muchas veces cuando te visitan algunas familias y tú les ofrece café y les preguntas a los jóvenes de la familia que te visita, que si quieren una taza de café la mayoría de las veces te dicen que no toman café, entonces tienes que prepararlos en el caso de ellos otro tipo de bebida.
Y es que a la mayoría de los jóvenes sus padres no lo han acostumbrado a tomarse su taza de café, en mi caso yo creo que es bueno lo que estos padres hacen para cuidar a sus hijos y que ellos no se acostumbren a tomar café, ya que a algunas personas les hace daño por ejemplo en mi caso tres de mis hijos no toman café y el mayor empezó a tomarlo cuando ya pasaba de los treinta años y yo nunca los obligue ni cuando estaban pequeños solo porque a mi me encantaba.
But recently I was surprised to see two young people who drank a lot of coffee and not only that, but they drank it very, very strong and one always saw Cristóbal, that was the name of the young man preparing his coffee, but when he served coffee to us, in this case to Lilia and to me and to the others who were present, although I like coffee and Lilia my wife also, we were crazy with how strong that coffee was and Cristóbal asked us, do you like the coffee? We would tell him yes, but it is pure and he would answer, I like it strong like that.
On one occasion my wife Lilia prepared a coffee for all of us, Cristóbal and his wife who is the other young woman who likes coffee, but just as strong, I remember that it was not as strong for Lilia Cristóbal told her don't worry, I'll make it stronger and add more coffee, then he started to prepare his coffee again and made it as strong as he and his wife like it.
Pero hace poco me sorprendió ver a dos jóvenes que tomaban mucho café y no solamente eso, sino que lo tomaban muy, pero muy fuerte y uno siempre veía en este caso a Cristóbal que era el nombre del joven preparando su café, pero cuando nos servía café a nosotros en este caso a Lilia y a mí también a los otros que estuvieran presente, aunque a mi me gusta el café y a Lilia mi esposa también nos quedábamos locos con lo fuertes que era ese café y Cristóbal nos preguntaba ¿les gusto el café? Le decíamos que sí, pero está puro y él contestaba, es que a mí me gusta así fuerte.
En una oportunidad mi esposa Lilia preparo un café para todos, estando presente Cristóbal y su esposa que es la otra joven que le gusta el café, pero igual de fuerte, recuerdo que no le quedo tan fuerte a Lilia Cristóbal le dijo no se preocupe, yo lo recuelo y le agrego más café entonces se ponía a preparar su café de nuevo y lo ponía bien fuerte como a él y su esposa les gusta.
In our case, as we drank it not as strong as the one that was left in the electric coffee pot where they prepared their coffee, I would tell my wife to reduce the one that was left in the pot and pour me a cup for me and you also have one and that is how we spent our time with Cristobal and his young wife who is my niece in which we were spending a few days taking care of my sister who was in poor health.
I also mention that Cristobal always carried a thermos to take his coffee wherever he went and you would see him preparing his coffee very strong and filling his thermos with coffee, then he would get on his bicycle and leave happy and he would tell us "I left coffee there", but very strong and then Lilia or I would reduce it so we could drink it.
En el caso de nosotros como lo tomamos no tan fuerte del que quedaba en la cafetera eléctrica que era en donde ellos preparaban su café, yo le decía a mi esposa rebaja el que queda en la cafetera y sírveme una tasa para mí y tú también tomas una y así fueron las bases que la pasamos en compañía de Cristóbal y su joven esposa que es mi sobrina en la cual estábamos pasando unos días cuidando a mi hermana que estaba mal de salud.
Les menciono también que Cristóbal siempre cargaba un termo para llevar su café a donde iba y tú lo veías preparando su café bien fuerte y llenando su termo de café, luego se montaba en su bicicleta y se iba contento y nos decía "allí les deje café", pero bien fuerte entonces Lilia o yo lo rebajábamos para poderlo tomar.
As I already mentioned most young people are not very interested in drinking coffee, but as we saw on this occasion through this post there are also a few who really like coffee, as is the case of Cristobal and his wife and we will continue to accompany them with strong coffee because next week my wife and I are going to visit them again and continue cheating by lowering ours.

Como ya les mencioné a la mayoría de los jóvenes no les llama mucho la atención tomar café, pero como vimos en esta ocasión por medio de este post también hay unos pocos que si les gusta mucho el café, como es el caso de Cristóbal y su esposa y los seguiremos acompañando con el café fuerte porque la semana que viene vamos mi esposa y yo a visitarlos otra vez y seguirle haciendo trampa rebajando el de nosotros.
La reflexión es que respetemos las costumbres o gustos de cada quien porque el propósito es que todos nos sintamos felices, y ya sabemos que en el mundo todos tenemos gustos muy distintos, gracias por leer mi publicación con cariño se despiden de usted sus apreciados amigos @liliayjuvenal.
Si es muy bueno no obligar a los niños a tomar café solo porque a uno le gusta. En mi caso mi hija mayor no lo toma y la menor le encanta, lo aprendió a tomar por su abuelo, mi papá, él usa mucha azúcar y mi hija solo estaba pendiente cuando ya iba a terminarlo de tomar para tomarlo y quedarse con el azúcar del fondo, lo descubrí luego de un buen tiempo.
I have been a long term coffee drinker; started when I was about 12 or so. I think I went down this pathway because my mum was a coffee drinker. Funnily enough, my Dad is a tea drinker, and my sister went down that path.
Jajaja!! Es cierto @liliayjuvenal así hay muchos jóvenes. Con decirles que mi sobrinito de 4 años ya esta con el vicio del café, aunque se lo dan no tan puro le gusta tanto que repite en las mañanas...y eso desde los 2 años más o menos. A penas se levanta en las mañanas y ya pide su café con pan, jajaja!!.
Así es!! Cada persona decide cómo tomarse su café, jaja. Me pareció muy lindo este post.
