Equal Opportunity is a ruleset that gives all monsters on the field the ability Opportunity, making everyone target the one with the least amount of life on the opponent's field.

In addition, monsters that can't attack from the back line end up being able to, so it's often interesting to add lots of Meeles to your team.

This ability doesn't affect monsters that have Sneak, Snipe or Scattershot, and you can take advantage of this, because by tying up another target and reducing its amount of life to a lower amount than another card on the field, you change the target of those that have Opportunity, and can take your opponent by surprise.

You can counter all of this, except the Scattershot, by using a monster with the Taunt ability, or even use the summoner Lily Shieldpaw and put a good tanker on the front line, placing good supports to keep it alive.

Or you can combine a good tanker in front with Lily Shieldpaw

You can work in a more offensive way, using monsters with Martyr, which increase the attributes of their adjacents on the field when they are eliminated, and also use the resurrection that some cards have to bring them back to life and create real machines of destruction.

In a battle that took place some time ago, I made a combination with what I consider to be one of the best monsters for this rule, the Drybone Raider. I placed 2 cards with Martyr next to it, so that it would receive a double addition of attributes, making it extremely powerful in attack.

I added 2 monsters at the ends of the back row, one to hold off possible monsters with Sneak and the other for those with Snipe.

My opponent came very strong in attack, with several Meeles, as well as two good tankers for magic attacks. However, one of them, who has the ability Taunt, which despite being a good choice as mentioned earlier, on this occasion turned out not to be, since in addition to the weekly challenge rule, there was Ferocity, which makes all attacks on cards with this ability deal double damage.

In the first round, my two Martyr monsters are eliminated, which leaves my Dryobe extremely strong in attack. She returns by making two eliminations as well, the first of which was caused by what may have been an opponent's mistake, as mentioned earlier, by adding a card with Taunt.

In addition, my other attackers eliminate a third, making the battle very favorable for me.

In the second round, my opponent has another casualty, and the penultimate card on the field has very low life. Victory seemed imminent.

In the third round, Drybone eliminates the remaining two, giving her a total of 5 eliminations, showing all her combat power.

As you can see, the combination of Martyr with a monster that has Double Strike plus 2 types of attack is extremely powerful, being the best of all for the Equal Opportunity ruleset, offensively speaking, as there are 4 attacks per round on a single monster. Apart from the Drybone Raider, there's only one other monster that has these attributes, and that's The Vigilator. Therefore, whenever you have to face this rule, this powerful strategy can be extremely effective and is worth trying out. If you want to combine it with the tips mentioned above, you'll increase your chances of victory even more. But be careful and look at the other rulesets that will be present, so you don't end up making the same mistake as my opponent.

Você pode trabalhar de forma mais ofensiva, utilizando monstros com Martyr, que aumentam os atributos dos seus adjacentes em campo ao serem eliminados, e além disso utilizar a ressureição que algumas cartas possuem para trazê-los de volta a vida e criar verdadeiras máquinas de destruição.

Em uma batalha que ocorreu há algum tempo atrás, eu fiz uma combinação com o que eu considero um dos melhores monstros para essa regra, o Drybone Raider. Coloquei 2 cartas com Martyr ao seu lado, para que ela recebesse uma dupla adição de atributos, tornando-a extremamente poderosa no ataque.

Adicionei 2 monstros nas pontas da linha de trás, um para segurar possíveis monstros com Sneak e outro para aqueles com Snipe.

Meu oponente veio bastante forte no ataque, com diversos Meeles, além de dois bons tankers para ataques mágicos. Porém um deles, que possui a habilidade Taunt, que apesar de ser uma boa escolha como mencionado anteriormente, nessa ocasião acabou não sendo, já que além da regra do desafio semanal, havia a Ferocity, que faz com que todos os ataques sobre cartas com tal habilidade, causem o dobro de dano.

Nesse caso em específico, um monstro com Taunt não foi uma boa ideia

Na primeira rodada, meus dois monstros com Martyr são eliminados, o que deixa minha Dryobe extremamente forte no ataque. Ela devolve realizando duas eliminações também, sendo a primeira causada por o que pode ter sido um erro do adversário, como citado anteriormente, ao adicionar uma carta com Taunt.

Além disso, os meus outros atacantes eliminam um terceiro, já deixando a batalha bastante favorável para mim.

Na segunda rodada, meu adversário tem mais uma baixa, além da penúltima carta em campo estar com a vida bastante baixa. A vitória parecia iminente.

Na terceira rodada, o Drybone elimina os dois restantes, totalizando 5 eliminações ao todo feitas por ela, mostrando todo o seu poder de combate.

Como você pode ver, a combinação de Martyr com um monstro que possua Double Strike e mais 2 tipos de ataque é extremamente poderosa, sendo a melhor de todas para a regra Equal Opportunity falando ofensivamente, pois são 4 ataques por rodada em um único monstro. Além do Drybone Raider, só existe mais um monstro que possua esses atributos, que é o The Vigilator. Portanto, sempre que tiver que enfrentar essa regra, essa poderosa estratégia pode ser extremamente eficiente e vale a pena testá-la. Se quiser combinar com as dicas citadas acima, aumentará ainda mais as chances de vitória. Mas tome cuidado e veja as outras regras que estarão presentes, para não acabar cometendo o mesmo erro de meu adversário.
