Fog of War - Battle Mage Secrets [ENG-PT]

Hello everyone!

In the Battle Mage Secrets of this week, we have Fog of War as ruleset for the challenge!

This rule removes Opportunity, Sneak and Snipe abilities of all monsters, so all attacks will be directed to the frontline monster, and the Meele ones can't attack from the backlines.

That's why we need to provide all the support to our tanker as much as possible.

There are a lot of abilities for this, like Tank Heal, Cleanse, Repair, Protect,

and you can punish your opponent's attacks with Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns, combined with Amplify.

You can choose tankers that already have good support skills like Void, Shield, Immunity and Heal, to make him survive as long as possible on the field.

Using a monster with Taunt ability in the backline to split the damage between it and the frontline one is a good idea as well. Triage ability is very useful in this strategy.

You can be ofensive using Scattershot, the only which can make attacks on the backlines when this ruleset is active. Combine this with Blast becomes an extremely strong attacking combo.

Poison, Stun, Affliction and other negative effects are also welcome, as long as your opponent's tanker doesn't have Immunity.

In the example I will show, there were two other rules in addition to the weekly challenge:
Little League: Only monsters with 4 or less mana can be used in the battle.

Healed Out: All healing abilites are removed from monsters and summoners.

I used some of the available support skills to protect my tanker, combined with a punishment for using Magic monsters and Ranges.
My supports were: Herbalist and Truthspeaker.

My tanker was Pelacor Conjurer, combined with Ilthain summoner. And Dax Paragon come to increase the reflect damage applied to the opponent monsters.

I still used Time Mage to reduce the speed of the opponent team, increasing the chances of miss attacks.

And the Doctor Blight to apply Poison and increase the chances of a quick elimination.

The strategy worked really well, my Herbalist attacking after the opponent Venari Bonesmith, removing any poison that could be applied to my tanker immediately, and punishing him for his magic attacks.

My strategy was extremely strong, with each monster having its role and working as a team to bring victory.

I believe that one of the few strategies that could have made me lose would have been using the Earth Splinter. However, since this was not available for use, there was little risk to me.

Olá a todos!

No Battle Mage Secrets dessa semana, temos o Fog of War como regra de batalha para o desafio!

Essa regra remove as habilidades de Opportunity, Sneak e Snipe de todos os monstros em campo, fazendo todos os ataques serem direcionados ao monstro da linha de frente, e os Meeles simplesmente não conseguem atacar das backlines.

Por isso devemos focar ao máximo em dar todo o suporte possível para o tanker.

Há diversas habilidades para isso, desde Tank Heal, Cleanse, Repair, Protect,

além de poder punir os ataques do oponente com Magic Reflect, Return Fire e Thorns, combinados com Amplify.

Você pode optar por tankers que já possuam boas habilidades de suporte como Void, Shield, Immunity e Heal, para fazê-lo aguentar o máximo de tempo possível em campo.

Também é interessante utilizar um monstro com Taunt na backline, para dividir o dano entre ele e o da linha de frente. A habilidade Triage é muito útil nessa estratégia.

Você pode optar por ser ofensivo, utilizando habilidades como Scattershot, que é a única que faz com que monstros das backlines sejam atacados quando esta regra de batalha estiver ativa. Combinando isso com Blast, se torna um combo extremamente forte para ataque.

Poison, Stun, Affliction e outros efeitos negativos também são bem vindos, desde que o tanker do seu oponente não possua Immunity.

Neste exemplo que eu irei mostrar, o conjunto de regras de batalha, além da regra do desafio semanal, incluia:
Little League: apenas monstros com mana menor ou igual a 4 podem ser usados em batalha.

Healed Out: todas as habilidades de cura são removidas dos monstros e invocadores.

Utilizei parte das habilidades de suporte disponíveis para proteger meu tanker, combinado com uma punição pelo uso de monstros Mágicos e Ranges.
Meus suportes eram: Herbalist e Truthspeaker.

Meu tanker era o Pelacor Conjurer, combinado com o invocador Ilthain. E o Dax Paragon viria para aumentar o dano de reflete aplicado aos monstros do oponente.

Eu ainda usei a Time Mage para reduzir a velocidade do time oponente, aumentando as chances de erro.

E o Doctor Blight para aplicar Poison e aumentar as chances de eliminação rápida.

A estratégia funcionou extremamente bem, com o meu Herbalist atacando logo após o Venari Bonesmith do oponente, removendo qualquer poison que pudesse ser aplicado ao meu tanker imediatamente, além de punir ele por seus ataques mágicos.

Minha estratégia foi extremamente forte, com cada monstro tendo sua função e trabalhando em equipe para trazer a vitória.

Acredito que uma das poucas estratégias que poderiam ter feito eu perder, seria utilizando o Splinter de Terra. Porém, como este não estava disponível para uso, não havia grandes riscos para mim.
