Gratitude and Its Cost

It pays to be grateful and it pays to be ungrateful, what goes around shall surely come around, at least that is what they say. Whether Karma truly exists or not it is up to you to take your destiny into your own hands and shape your future, we all need help or support one way or the other from each other.

Being our brother's keeper is how we get to climb the ladder of success, it is the people around you who would enable you to have access to certain doorways, who will upon up certain protocols for you, it is these same individuals that could end up changing your life in a heartbeat.

When this does happen though, we shouldn't just forget about the goodness some of these individuals may have shown us, why? Because the length people go to render help to people is unfathomable, many put not only their lives and jobs on the line but their families and their properties, their status, and a whole lot more.

They do this not because they have found a god in you or anything but because of the love and care they may have for you because they wish to see you succeed, they wish you to be at the point they may be because they wish we all to go home with a payday. And so if at the end of the day you pay them with pain and regret then you should know that it would get back to you.

Everything has a cost, be mindful of your actions against those who helped you reach that zenith because they are the same people you will meet on your way down, don't step on toes and people because you feel you have made it, life is a paradox and no one knows the future. A word to the wise...

From the depths of my being, I can tell you that the greatest accomplishment we achieve as we act with gratitude is our own spiritual peace, and that comes at no cost.
