[ENGLISH] Today in the morning when I opened the door of my house I noticed a small pigeon that was hovering around my garden, I immediately closed the door so as not to scare it and took my camera to take the photos that I show you today.

In our country it is very customary to breed this type of birds in rustic dovecotes, every day you can see flocks of them flying both in rural and urban areas because pigeon fanciers are scattered throughout the region and they usually travel long distances with them and release them to later calculate the time it takes to return home.

Normally they put a ring on their paws to be able to identify them, but in the case of this one, it does not have, it may be that its owner is a beginner in raising pigeons or simply this is a pigeon that is still free in our skies.

[ESPAÑOL] Hoy en la mañana cuando abrir la puerta de mi casa me percaté de una pequeña paloma que se encontraba rondando los alrededores de mi jardín, inmediatamente cerré la puerta para no asustarla y tomé mi cámara para realizar las fotos que hoy les muestro.

En nuestro país se acostumbra mucho a criar este tipo de aves en palomares rústicos, todos los días se pueden ver bandadas de las mismas volando tanto en zonas rurales y urbanas pues los aficionados colombófilos están dispersos en toda la región y acostumbran a viajar largas distancias con ellas y soltarlas para después calcular el tiempo que demoran en regresar a casa.

Normalmente les colocan un anillo en sus patas para poder identificarlas, pero en el caso de esta, no tiene, puede ser que su dueño sea un principiante en la crianza de palomas o simplemente esta sea una paloma que aún andan libre en nuestros cielos.
