[ESP-ENG] LA GALLINITA FOSFORERA, RECICLANDO Y DECORANDO // LA GALLINITA FOSFORERA, RECYCLING AND DECORATING
¡Holaaaaaaaa! Mis queridos amigos de Hive Diy
En esta ocasión realicé un útil adorno para la cocina donde poder colocar los fósforos y encendedores que utilizamos para la cocina. Siempre es un problema conseguirlo porque somos varias personas las que hacemos uso de la cocina y a la hora de encenderla no tenemos a la mano el encendedor. Mi hija pequeña tenía varios días pidiendo que hiciera uno y por fin me decidí a hacerlo.
Para realizar este adorno que denominé la gallinita fosforera utilicé una caja de cereal vacía y retazos varios de fieltro. Siempre que decido hacer un proyecto primero reviso entre mis cosas qué materiales e provecho tengo y puedo darle una nueva utilidad. Reciclar es una de las actividades que trato de fomentar en mi familia.

Helloooooo! My dear Hive Diy friends
On this occasion I realized a useful ornament for the kitchen where you can place the matches and lighters we use for the kitchen. It is always a problem to get it because we are several people who make use of the kitchen and when it comes to lighting it, we do not keep the lighter at hand. My little daughter had been asking me to make one for several days and I finally decided to do it.
To perform this ornament that I denounced the Gallinite Fosforera, I used an empty cereal box and various felt scraps. Whenever I decide to do a project, I first check among my things what materials and use I have and I can give it a new use. Recycle is one of the activities that I try to encourage my family.

- Bordado líquido
- Pistola y barra de silicón

- Gun and silicone stick
- Scissor
- Graphite pencil
- Fabric ribbon
PROCEDIMIENTO
- En la caja de cereal dibujé las piezas para realizar la gallinita.
PROCESS
- In the cereal box I drew the pieces to make the little chicken.
- Recorté cada pieza para luego forrarlas con fieltro.
- I cut out each piece and then lined them with felt.
- Comencé realizando el cuerpo de la gallina. Corté dos piezas de fieltro, una para forrar la pieza de cartón y la otra que se recorta al ras para tapar la parte trasera. Estas piezas se fijan con silicón y luego se va realizando un doblez y pegando a medida que se va colocando el silicón.
- De la misma forma realicé las demás piezas, individualmente.
I started by making the body of the hen. I cut two pieces of felt, one to line the cardboard piece and the other that is trimmed flush to cover the back. These pieces are fixed with silicone and then a fold is made and gluing as the silicone is placed.
- In the same way I made the other pieces, individually.
- Con la cinta de tela, realicé los tirantes del traje de la gallinita. Pegué dós tiras de 10 cm cada una con silicón.
- Luego pegué lo que sería el bolsillo de la gallinita para meter las cajas de fósforo y encendedores.
- With the fabric ribbon, I made the straps for the chicken costume. I glued two strips of 10 cm each with silicone.
- Then I glued what would be the chicken pocket to put the match boxes and lighters.
- Ya formado el cuerpo de la gallinita comencé a pegar las demás piezas que ya había formado. Comenzando con las alas. Luego el cuello, las crestas, el pico. Y en la cresta superior pegué la cinta para guindarla.
- Once the body of the chicken was formed, I began to glue the other pieces that I had already formed. Starting with the wings. Then the neck, the ridges, the beak. And on the upper ridge I glued the ribbon to hang it.
- Para los ojos corté dos trozos ovalados de fieltro negro y con el bordado líquido coloqué dos puntos en cada uno para darle vida. Las pestañas las hice con pintura al frío y un pincel liner.
- For the eyes I cut two oval pieces of black felt and with the liquid embroidery I placed two stitches in each one to give it life. I made the eyelashes with cold paint and a liner brush.
Cada vez que termino una pieza por muy sencilla que sea, me siento emocionada. Saber que de una simple caja vacía de cereal y pequeños trozos de fieltro puedo realizar algo útil para mi cocina, me causa gran satisfacción. Ya no tendremos problemas de conseguir nuestros encendedores gracias a la gallinita fosforera. Espero que esta idea sea de utilidad para todos.

Every time I finish a piece, no matter how simple it may be, I feel excited. Knowing that from a simple empty cereal box and small pieces of felt I can make something useful for my kitchen, gives me great satisfaction. We will no longer have problems getting our lighters thanks to the little phosphorous hen. I hope this idea is useful to everyone.
