Question to better understand delegations to ecency: Case of Boost with points

This post is for:

CONTEXT
I am in the process of making posts for the French-speaking community (which will also serve the other communities) which make it possible to follow via a constructive statistical analysis the possible rewards if we make delegations to @ecency.

From my reading I learned that:

  • ecency points have several functions and one of them is their ability to allow a possible upvote (via the boost function)
  • it is possible to boost both a post and a comment;
  • it is possible to boost your own production or the production of another author ((if not blacklisted);
  • the maximum boost limit is 500 points;
  • to be boosted a post or a comment must be of quality;
  • the boost is not systematic, even if the post (or the comment) is of good quality;
  • the same post (or comment) cannot be boosted more than once;
  • that you achieve the boosts manually and that it is laborious
  • that you refund the points, if the boost does not take place during 48h
  • that the points used for a boost are not refundable if the post in question is followed by a downvote

MY QUESTIONS ?
What I don't know, and what I want to be enlightened about: Here are some questions:

  • Q1: Can we achieve more than 1 boost per person per week on different productions?
  • Q2: Can the same person boost several comments of the same post?
  • Q3: Can we boost several posts at the same time (with a bulk boost system)

Q1: YES

Q2: NO (comment boost is rare and done only from community engagement program, nothing to do with manual points boosts according to my knowledge)

Q3: YES (you can boost several post at the same time but one post only one time)

Boosting a post doesn't guarantee an upvote as it's a manual process. Each time you boost a curator decide to accept it or not. If it's rejected, your points will be returned after 24 hours.

As I am a human and may made a mistake to explain it, if you found any error please inform me.

  • For question Q1: I also think the answer is Yes in theory, but in practice as soon as I do 1 boost all other boosts for other posts are refused throughout the week
  • For question Q2: remains to be discussed because I can't find a concrete answer, I think the best way is to find a post where several comments are interesting and try to boost them at the same time. But I prefer to ask the question because the boosts are done manually and I don't want to overload the work of those who do them, that's why I ask this question
  • For question Q3: I agree with your answer but I want to know if there is a function that in 1 or 2 clicks allows you to boost several posts

tout boost est vérifié par un humain. cela dépend s'il y a trop de travail et que l'humain ne peut pas travailler correctement.

To help curators spread Ecency votes around to as many people asking for boosts as possible, please only ask for one boost per day. If your POINTS are returned it may be because Ecency VP is low.

Use good judgment and don't ask for a 500 POINT boost on a low effort post. Do not boost template posts.
