and today I will show you all my activities a few days ago at the " Reservoir lhok elephant ".
the clock shows 17:00 Indonesian time, or 5 pm, my cellphone rang several times, when I saw it was my friend who called me and asked me to go for an afternoon walk to fill my spare time, I was tired because I just got home from work had refused their invitation , but they teased me, and they said that they would take me to go fishing to a " reservoir called " Lhok Gajah Reservoir ", and there were a lot of big fish there.
I, who likes fishing, of course heard this and immediately got ready and told them that I would be coming soon.
Actually I've been to this reservoir several times, but at that time I didn't do much there and I didn't even dare to fish there, just looking at the natural beauty found in the reservoir.
This was because at that time there had just been an accident in the reservoir, where there was a resident who drowned in the reservoir and died there, of course it created a lot of issues that developed in the community, some even linked it with mystical and mysterious things there.
there are those who claim that the residents drowned because of the actions of the supernatural beings who guard the reservoir, there are also those who say that the residents died because they were swallowed by a large snake that inhabited the reservoir.
but over time the issue disappeared along with changes in nature and the natural beauty contained in the reservoir.
and at this moment I ventured to go with my friend whose goal was to fish there and catch some big fish.
because I was a little late, they finally went ahead and told me to come quickly and they waited at the edge of the reservoir.
when I got there I was very surprised, because I saw they didn't bring any fishing equipment, what I saw they only brought some nets to catch fish, according to them because it was too late so they didn't go fishing and would fish on another day, and they invited me to climb on a raft made of several pieces of bamboo tied together and paddle it into the middle of the reservoir to cast and net there.
I refused their invitation to get on the raft, because I was afraid to drown there because I couldn't swim, so I preferred to wait for them at the edge of the reservoir.
actually I was a little disappointed because they promised me to fish and in fact they did not go fishing and prefer to put fishing nets in the reservoir.
but my disappointment was somewhat relieved by seeing the beautiful natural scenery in the reservoir.
and the next day I asked them for a promise to accompany me fishing as they promised, and as close friends they did not have the heart to disappoint me and kept their promise to accompany me fishing.
We still choose to fish in the afternoon, because in the afternoon the weather is not too hot and nature is getting more and more amazing showing its beauty, especially in the afternoon we are accompanied by the air It's cool and the sun is about to set.
Actually, this reservoir has a deep size of up to 5 meters, but now that it has not rained for a long time, the water in this reservoir is starting to recede and is not too full anymore.
Indeed for some people fishing is the most boring thing, a waste of time waiting for something that is uncertain, but unlike me, fishing has become part of In my life, in addition to practicing patience, fishing also makes my stress disappear, and finds a deep happiness that cannot be understood by people who don't have hobbies same with me.
and our struggle, patience and waiting that day paid off sweetly, we got some tilapia.
