Seeing the beauty of rivers in remote villages in Aceh, Indonesia
Hello all my beloved friends wherever you are.
today I will invite all of you to see the natural panorama and the beauty of rivers in remote villages in Aceh-Indonesia.
Located in the village of Meunasah Buket, Kutamakmur District, North Aceh Regency, this river is the longest river connecting up to 39 villages.
That afternoon my friends and I took a moment to take a walk to see the natural beauty on the riverbank.
because this river is located in the village where we live, we don't have to worry about our walks being a bit late, we even deliberately chose the time in the afternoon because the weather wasn't that hot.
to get to the river we didn't need to spend a lot of time, because the river is only about 100 meters away from residential areas, meaning it only took us about 10 minutes.
when we arrived at the edge of the river, it looked like the weather was very supportive, very bright and even the clouds could be seen very clearly, we weren't worried in the slightest that it would rain.
the evening air was very cool, the cold from the splashing of the river water was felt, it all at first caused me to be a bit lazy to go down, but because my friends forced me to go down and see the beauty that was so beautiful I finally did down to be able to directly touch the cold river water.
this river still looks very natural, it's just that because this river is located under a large dam, and is the gate for discharging water from the dam, then about 3 years ago a 30 m long wall was made on the edge of this river with cement, which the goal is to hold the ground beside the river so as not to collapse.
I have been here several times, and at that time the river water was not as murky as this, because now is the rainy season so the river water looks a bit cloudy.
but if it doesn't rain for a few days, the water in this river will look very clear, and we can even see lots of fish chasing around in this river.
doing a little walk in the evening to this river we can feel and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.
because this river is in a lowland, anyone who visits this river will be able to see beautiful views of the hills with green grass.
On the banks of the river, you can see the villagers clearing this land to plant some vegetables here, such as cayenne pepper, spinach and even kale, which are also cultivated, and they use this land so that the banks of the river are always maintained and kept clean.
there are two tunnels that connect this river to a large dam, where water is stored for villagers during the dry season.
The tunnel is almost 50 m long, and you have to bring a flashlight to get into it, because it's very dark inside this tunnel, that's what my friend who once entered the tunnel told me.
this river has a depth of about 1 meter, so we can still see many rocks which are still very natural and standing firmly, because every villager is prohibited from taking stones in this river for personal gain, even every villager is required to look after and take good care of this river, not only the river, the community is also obliged to protect the nature around which this river is located.
in order to preserve nature and keep this river functioning and usable by the community, our village government cultivates trees to preserve nature here.
even though this river belongs to the village community, each villager is given several rules in order to preserve this river, rules such as not being able to cut down large trees on the banks of the river, not being able to catch fish in this river by destroying the environment , such as poisoning or contacting it with electrical voltage.
Taking fish in a good way such as fishing or using your hands is permissible but not in large quantities.
my friend has the skill to summon fish to rush into his hand, he only uses his bare hands without any tools, all I see is a palm fruit in his hand, he does that while singing and whistling, the fish come in flocks to his hand to eat the palm fruit without the slightest fear, even the fish are very good friends with it.
according to him, he often feeds the fish here without hurting them, even that is done just to entertain himself, after the fish eat, the fish will return to their nest.
that's how we treat nature very kindly, and the result we feel is that nature is so amazing and friendly to us, and shows its extraordinary beauty.
If you come to visit this river, besides the beautiful natural scenery and the river which is inhabited by beautiful fish, you can also find various kinds of wild flowers which are very beautiful and spoil your eyes.
in this place I capture several kinds of wildflowers that caught my attention.
the existence of wild flowers in this place increasingly spoil the eyes of anyone who comes here.
not only wild flowers that can be enjoyed around this river, you will also be able to find many beautiful mushrooms complete with their palaces here.
We believe that as long as we take good care of nature here, and treat it kindly, then nature will always provide the best for us, and show its beauty to us and our children and grandchildren.
and if you are an adventurer and nature lover, then there is nothing wrong if you visit this place.
