No construyas el negocio, constrúyelo a ti / Don't Build The Business, Build You [ESP/ENG]

Chicos, ¿sabían que tener una gran idea no es el único requisito para que una empresa sobresalga; alguien debe estar preparado para trabajar en su idea.

Literalmente me tomó tiempo entender esto.

Inicialmente, había imaginado que una vez que mi idea estuviera formulada adecuadamente, el éxito llegaría rápidamente y sin esfuerzo.

Pero me di cuenta de que el logro se debía más a quién soy que a lo que significaba el concepto.

Cuando se me ocurrió por primera vez la idea de iniciar mi propia empresa, me entusiasmó. Pensé que sería fácil para mí convertirlo en una historia de éxito.

Sin embargo, cuando comencé a trabajar en ello, me di cuenta de que hacer realidad esto implicaba más que simplemente tener una buena idea. Requeriría trabajo duro, resiliencia y una mente abierta.

Lo primero que me vino a la mente fue la paciencia. Mi deseo era que mi negocio alcanzara todo su potencial de inmediato, pero, claro, lograr el éxito lleva tiempo.

Incluso en los momentos difíciles, cuando las cosas parecían no funcionar en absoluto, todavía tenía que mantener la calma y seguir trabajando duro sin perder la esperanza en sus sueños.

El fracaso es un maestro tan bueno como cualquier otra cosa. Todo lo que intenté no funcionó tan bien y tuve que levantarme del suelo y seguir adelante. No fue el final de la vida; fue sólo una imperfección.

Sin embargo, hay una cosa que más me importaba. El proceso de creación de un negocio es difícil, en algunos momentos dudé de mi capacidad para salir adelante. Sin embargo, incluso cuando los tiempos se pusieron difíciles, necesitaba confiar en mí mismo y reconocer mis propias habilidades.

Al final, aunque pasó un tiempo antes de que el éxito comenzara a llegar.

Sin embargo, no sucedió de la noche a la mañana, con el tiempo comencé a darme cuenta de que mi empresa se estaba expandiendo poco a poco. Y a medida que crecía, ¿sabes qué? Comencé a sentir que esto es exactamente lo que debería ser por el éxito.

El negocio en sí no es lo único que interviene en la creación de un negocio; también involucra a la persona en la que te has convertido a lo largo del camino. Se trata de saber aguantar, afrontar la derrota y creer en uno mismo. Por mucho que parezca llevar mucho tiempo, vale la pena.

En este momento mi negocio va de maravilla y estoy orgulloso de lo lejos que he llegado. Sin embargo, más que eso, estoy orgulloso de quién soy hoy.

Que antes, soy más fuerte y más ambicioso que nunca. Con o sin cualquier tipo de problema por delante que pueda desanimarme de mis objetivos, siempre habrá nuevas oportunidades para explorar.

Entonces, cuando piense en iniciar su propio negocio, recuerde esto: no se trata solo de la idea, sino de en quién se convertirá a lo largo del viaje. Sé tolerante, sé fuerte y sobre todo cree en ti mismo.

Porque una vez que lo hagas, nada te impedirá conseguir lo que deseas.

Así que mis palabras de aliento son que te concentres más en desarrollar las habilidades que te convierten en una persona de negocios exitosa en lugar de simplemente intentar construir un negocio. Aprenda de los errores de otros empresarios y de usted mismo.

Se necesita tiempo, al igual que a mí me tomó tiempo desarrollarme, pero al final ciertamente crecerás y tendrás más éxito en el ámbito empresarial.

It literally took time for me to understand this.

Initially, I had imagined that once my idea was properly framed, success would come along quickly and effortlessly.

But it dawned on me that achievement was more of who I am rather than what the concept meant.

When I first got the idea of starting up my own company, I was excited about it. I thought it would be easy for me to make it a success story.

However, as I began working on it, I realized that there was more involved in making it happen than just having a good idea. It would require hard work, resilience and being open minded.

The first thing that came across my mind was patience. My wish was for my business to realize its full potential immediately but then again, getting successful takes time.

Even through tough moments when things seemed not working out in any way at all, still had to keep calm and continue working hard without giving up hope on one’s dreams.

Failure’s as good a teacher as anything. Everything I tried didn’t work so well and I had to pick myself up from the floor and move on. It was not the end of life; it was just a blemish.

However, there is one thing that mattered most to me. The process of putting up a business is difficult, at some points in time I doubted my capability of making it through. However, even when times got tough, I needed to rely on myself and acknowledge my own abilities.

At last though it took sometimes before success started coming.

Yet overnight didn't happen, over time i began to realize that my company was expanding slowly by slowly. And as it grew, you know what? I began to feel like this is exactly who I should be for its success sake.

The business itself is not the only thing involved in building a business; it also involves the person that you have become along the way. It’s about knowing how to endure, having to deal with defeat and believing in oneself. As much as it may seem time consuming, it is worth it.

Right now my business is doing wonderfully and I am proud of how far I have come. However, more than that, I am proud of who I am today.

Than before, I am stronger and more ambitious than ever before. With or without any kind of trouble ahead of me that could discourage me from my goals, there will always be new opportunities for me to explore.

So when you think about starting your own business remember this: it’s not just the idea but it’s who you become along the journey. Be tolerant, be strong and above all else believe in yourself.

Because once you do then nothing will stop you from getting what you want.

So my words of encouragement is to focus more on developing the skills that makes you a successful business person rather than just attempting to build a business. Learn from the mistakes of other business people and yourself.

It takes time just like it took me time to develop but you'll certainly grow in the end and become more successful at entrepreneurship.
