My Dad Got up at 4 am and Watched the Whole Thing

If I am going to get up at that hour it's going to have to be for something that will have a direct impact on my life one way or the other.
I think sometimes people forget that a revolution was fought over 200 years ago to get away from all that.
I actually saw it when they put the crown on his head and he didn't look the least bit happy. Of course, it looks pretty heavy so I wouldn't be pleased either.
I kind of felt bad for his grandkids having to sit through that. I remember going to Mass on Sunday when I was a little kid and having to sit still and be quiet in church for an hour. It was a struggle. They were actually very well-behaved.
So, yeah I saw some of it. But not on purpose. We were up and having our breakfast while it was on.
My Dad will probably watch the Kentucky Derby later this afternoon too.
He likes all that ceremonial stuff.
Not much else going on this weekend.

Thursday and Friday Token Buying Activities

Thursday, May 4th:

This week's Hive token buying is going to have a bump from other tokens I traded that were in my wallet. I got them as dividends from holding HE-INDEX tokens.

Started with 0.00081161 in my Hive Engine wallet

After trading several tokens that I earned as dividends from holding HE INDEX tokens I had 20.37662639 Swap.Hive in my wallet.

I asked a question on the threadcast for the CryptoManiacs podcast and @jongolson sent me 10 CTPM as a reward for taking action. So, now I have 1082 CTPM tokens staked and earning CTP tokens for me. Pretty Sweet, huh?

Friday Buy Day for May 5th:

I did my weekly fiat dollar cost average and bought $16 USD worth of Litecoin on Coinbase. That purchase yielded $14.29 USD worth of Litecoin and sent it to Swap.LTC on Hive Engine.
I received 0.16279226 Swap.LTC and traded it for 36.05848596 Swap.Hive.
Had 56.43511238 Swap.Hive to reinvest this week.

Hi, Lisa. LOL, that is so funny about your dad getting up early for the Coronation, but it must have been special for him to see a King being crowned since he is a man. I saw a picture of Charles and he does look miserable lol. Maybe he is bored to death :) I'll have to look at some videos of this because it didn't mean much to me and to get excited over. I might have been more excited if it was a new queen (a woman) being crowned. I had alot of trouble sitting still in church and being quiet during my Catholic grade school years. It was the one where we were not suppose to laugh in church, so I would get uncontrollable giggles that I tried to hold back so hard. I didn't want to get into trouble but that made it harder not to laugh :))))

Hi Barb! Thanks for reading and commenting. Charles is probably surprised he even got to the throne. His grandmother, Queen Elizabeth's Mom, lived to be over 100. He was probably counting on being passed over. My Dad is really big on ritual and ceremony. I am kind of over all of it. I always laugh the hardest when I am not supposed to be laughing.

I was up early getting dressed to go help at graduation at Olivet Nazarene, where my husband is a professor. Since I was up, I watched a bit while I had my coffee. The music is nice to listen to. !CTP

I enjoyed the pomp and circumstance of graduation more, though.Celebrating young people for their hard work.

I would have enjoyed the graduation ceremony way more as well, Kim. And yes, their hard work should be celebrated. The music during the coronation was pretty nice. Roy and I are pretty much always up before my Dad. We enjoy sitting quietly at breakfast in the morning.
When my youngest sister is visiting she turns on Sports Center on ESPN right away.
We all have our routines.

Originally, I intended to stake 30k CTP on listnerds.com, but after encountering repeated difficulty in staking, I decided to stop with 26,370.

It's more than enough to be able to earn more CTP for verifying emails.

Doing great on the token front again ! I did watch the coronation - we had a re-union with frineds on Friday evening, and were so hungover on saturday that watch TV was about all we could do ! And it was very long winded in places. We also watched the concert last night - that was fun !
