Yesterday evening the correct replacement parts arrived via Amazon delivery.
Roy got them packed with the grease that needed to go in them to make them last longer and then he and I put the tub and drum back together. He put it together. I balanced it in place so he could get it put back together. And then it sat until this morning. One huge step done to prepare for today's even bigger job!

This morning we started the rest of the reassembly. He was able to use his floor jack to raise the huge heavy thing so he could put the springs back on it to hold it in place. Then he had to reassemble everything else. It took another few hours to get it all going again. Not sure if you saw the pictures of everything taken apart but it was a trip. I am just grateful that it works and we were able to sit in front of it while it was in the final spin cycle when it made the most noise before he fixed it without going deaf. Oh yeah and he had to take apart all the straps that were holding the dryer suspended above so he could do that work.

And here it is all put back together. Whew, what a relief. I had to take a couple Tylenol after that because I had a massive headache from being all stressed out.

As far as my business journey goes, all is pretty well on that front. I know I mentioned that I have been looking for a part time job to fund my online efforts. Today on Facebook I saw another one of those ads that just irks me. They advertise it as a work at home job but it’s really a business opportunity. So annoying. If you have to pay and sign up for something it’s not a job application. And if someone is pushing you to run up your credit cards and borrow money from other sources, to be a part of a business opportunity, Run Screaming!

Speaking of business opportunities, I started watching a documentary on Amazon Prime entitled Lula Rich. It’s about the LulaRoe MLM business that sold leggings. One of those things that reinforces the reasons why I really don’t like MLM in general. The first episode is about the business starting up and how they recruited women to join it. Five thousand dollars it cost to sell leggings. Please! And they’re not very nice looking either. I wouldn’t wear them for free. I have three more parts to watch. I heard about it from a YouTube video. It was amusing and aroused my curiosity. It’s included with my Prime membership so why not.
Have to get a little more work done yet first though.

Have a great rest of your Saturday. See you tomorrow.

I am so glad you were able to fix your washing machine without getting a costly repairman involved. It was proabable a lot of hard worth but accomplishing a big task like that is something to be very proud of. Great Job. Take care.

Yeah so are we! Thanks, David! The biggest challenge, I think, was the limited amount of space for working on it. And Roy isn't a big guy either. He's only about 5'7" and it was still cramped for him to move around. We did it though and saved a bunch of money in the process. Have a great Sunday! 😀
