Why I LOVE Mondays!

Happy Monday! .png

I never used to say that. In fact, I used to dread Sunday nights because I knew I had to get up on Monday to start another week of working for someone else and driving in traffic, etc.

I worked my last job that I had to drive to in February of 2015. I had a couple of work from home jobs since then that didn't pan out for one reason or the other.

Since I started working full time for myself Mondays are no longer a day to dread. In fact I embrace them.

I get to start fresh every week. Mondays are a do over for things I didn't get quite right the week before. That takes so much pressure off for feeling like I have to be perfect.

To be honest Monday is not really different from any other day of the week. I don't live for Friday night. I mean I like the weekend but it isn't a huge deal like it used to be.

The biggest special thing about Monday is that it starts another week of being able to work for myself in my own space. For that I am so grateful. And now if I decide to take a job just to get some extra income it's by choice not necessity and I can be picky as heck about what I do.

Hope you're all having a great start to your new week.

Happy Monday and See you tomorrow!

Thank you, Ben! It is an awesome feeling. The fact that my husband is retired and we are together all day everyday is even better. Hope your week is blessed and successful as well.

That's a whole other meaning to the word freedom and good for you that you're able to "pck and chose" and that it doesn't have to be a necessity, which also makes you enjoy what you're doing. Or that's what I think.

It sure is. I like what I am doing so much that it will have to be really awesome to get me to give up my time.

Yes, @tanjakolader! The freedom of not having to drive to a job with a boss that stresses me out on a daily basis is beyond AWESOME! Am I making a ton of money? No, not yet! But I have my life the way I want it. Have an Awesome week! Thanks again for your comment!😀

Yes!.... My mental health is priceless and we're working towards that financial freedom by grinding while also enjoying what we do.
