Greetings to all the women of hive, this week I join the contest 125,where @tibaire brings us this week two very interesting questions one about euthanasia and another referring to women .I liked the first question about euthanasia and with it I decide to give my participation and my point of view on this subject.
Euthanasia is a very controversial topic to deal with since we are talking about putting an end to life. This procedure is assisted by medical personnel with the consent of the patient, who wants to have a dignified death, where there is no longer any suffering or pain.
There are many countries that legally accept this procedure, as long as the patient's health has no hope of survival. In our country, Venezuela, euthanasia is not legally contemplated.

I know a story of a young girl of only 14 years old who suffered an aneurysm and it burst, she immediately went to intensive care, the days passed and another aneurysm appeared and also burst; the young girl's outlook was not encouraging despite having undergone surgery on her brain; the days passed and she did not react; they told her mother that there was nothing to do, that the best thing to do was to disconnect her so that she could rest. The mother asked not to perform the disconnection, she never gave up hope and the young woman woke up. Although she was not completely well because she was left with many problems, she is alive. It is a story where faith was manifested and managed to overcome; if the disconnection was applied at that moment, she would no longer be on this earthly plane.

Ahora la pregunta es la siguiente

Now the question is the following

According to the Internet, Euthanasia is the intervention voluntarily accepted by the patient and performed by a medical professional, which accelerates the death of a terminally ill person, with the intention of avoiding unnecessary suffering and pain. Do you agree with this way of dying, do you think it dignifies the person in his decision of how to leave or, on the contrary, do you think it should not be practiced? Could you argue your point of view?

Euthanasia for me is a very personal decision that must be subjected to a very rigorous study to determine if this medical procedure can really be accepted for that person. I believe that the person who is in that period of suffering and pain due to some illness, is capable of making the decision to end his or her life of suffering and have a dignified death.
I do not consider that a person who is not in a state of lucidity, another person should come to make the decision to put an end to his or her life. That is why I consider that it is a very personal decision to end one's life.
The controversy of euthanasia is to put in a balance the logical and rational part that would avoid the suffering of a person and on the other side the religious part of faith; to consider that just as we have a day to be born also a day to die; and that we must accept the situation, even if it is painful until the last day that it is his turn to leave.

Euthanasia is very personal and people who go through it are strong. It isn't easy to make such a decision on one's life.
