My favorite job so far is...// WEEK 195

Happy closing weekend, today in week 195, I participate with the my favorite job is?..

I remember when I decided to become a professional, I had many doubts about what to study; I was very young and had no vocational orientation. I started with accounting, but eventually decided not to continue.

That was when the technology boom was all the rage and I thought it was a great opportunity to have a good job. So I decided to become a teaching professional with a specialty in computer science.

I started working before graduating, and the truth is that it has been the best experience and it is the favorite job for me. There for more than 17 years I have been teaching and educating children, adults, community in general about free software and technology applied to education.

I really did not make a mistake in choosing the job that would become a place that I feel at home. Being able to share my knowledge with those little ones who will be the future of our country, makes me feel that every day I must be better. That is why I never stop keeping up with new technological advances to give the children learning activities to reinforce their classroom knowledge. I really enjoy doing this job, I am in a welcoming environment, which is also super important to be able to say that it is a favorite job.

Despite the fact that in my country Venezuela this profession is very poorly paid, I really like what I do and I feel that it is by vocation that I attend my work.

Selecting a job as a favorite is ultimately about feeling good about what you do, despite the adversities that teaching is going through at the moment.
