Asistir a consulta odontológica en edad temprana es necesario, para crear el hábito a nuestros niños del cuido de sus dientes. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia con mi hijo que en este periodo de 2 años hemos asistido muchas veces al odontólogo y el día de ayer se me presento una nueva emergencia.

Como madre siempre he estado al pendiente del cuido de la higiene bucal de mis dos hijos; pero con mi último hijo he tenido muchos inconvenientes a nivel bucal. Lo cierto que sin exagerar he asistido como 8 veces en poco tiempo para realizar procedimientos que van desde colocar porcelana, amalgama, hasta la momificación de una muela; con diferentes profesionales de la odontología

As a mother I have always been attentive to the care of the oral hygiene of my two children; but with my last son I have had many problems at the oral level. The truth is that without exaggeration I have attended about 8 times in a short time to perform procedures that range from placing porcelain, amalgam, to the mummification of a tooth; with different dental professionals

Los primeros procedimientos fueron colocar porcelana por tener caries, lo cierto es que mi pequeño sentía dolor he inmediatamente lo llevo y le arreglan la muela con porcelana; en ese momento que todo estaba resulto hasta que pudiera mudar de manera normal su muela. Pero n fue así; después de eso no habían pasado ni cuatro meses cuando ya ese procedimiento no serbia porque se la callo la porcelana. Después llevo a otro odontólogo y colocan amalgama; dije con esto si ya se soluciona la cosa. Bueno les cuento que tampoco funciono y empezó mi niño con mucho dolor.Llevo nuevamente al odontólogo y me dicen que hay que momificar la muela, que no es más que matar el nervio. Bueno decidí que se le realizara este procedimiento.

I take again to the dentist and they tell me that you have to mummify the tooth, that it is nothing more than killing the nerve. Well I decided to have this procedure performed.

Ahora la noche del domingo mi hijo comenzó con un dolor intenso y lloraba mucho, la verdad me desespere ya que no sabía qué hacer. El día de ayer lleve nuevamente al odontólogo con la fiel convicción de que le realizarán la extracción de su muela así no le toque el tiempo de mudar. Ya que tantos procedimientos y ninguno ha funcionado. No quería ver mi niño llorando con ese dolor; yo a mi edad no he sentido un dolor así. Lo cierto es que no le realizaron extracción porque no tiene la edad y les estoy dando antiinflamatorio

Como padres les recomiendo estar muy atentos con la higiene bucal y evitar que los niños pasen por situaciones como las que estoy pasando con mi hijo. Evitar que coman muy frecuente chucherías

Bueno un poco de desahogo ya que de verdad es preocupante ver a un niño tan pequeño llorar por dolor.
