Recuerdo que desde pequeña, mi abuela me daba unas moneditas semanales para que yo fuera guardando en una alcancía que ella misma me regaló. Cada vez que me daba moneditas, me llenaba de alegría, me sentía orgullosa de ir pudiendo reunir para cualquier chuchería que me quería comprar sin tener que estar pidiéndole a nadie dinero para comprarlas. Cuando veía a mis tíos también me aportaban algo, sobre todo en tiempo decembrino. Así fuera una tontería, para uno era una riqueza.

Ese hábito lo fui aprendiendo y siempre he podido ser una persona ahorrativa. Muchas veces me tocó privarme de algo, aguantar, olvidarme que tenía algo ahorrado y así ese cochinito iba engordando y engordando, hasta poderme comprar algo o sufragar una necesidad, al ver que yo misma podía comprarme algo que deseaba, me llenaba de alegría y orgullo.

Así he sido toda mi vida, una persona ahorrativa, más no pichirre, todo lo contrario, si es necesario compartir lo que he ahorrado con alguien que esté pasando por problemas difíciles y lo necesite, lo entrego, ¿de qué le sirve a uno tener dinero ahorrado si hay personas a nuestro lado pasando trabajo, necesitando de una ayuda hasta para comer?

That is how I have been all my life, a thrifty person, but not a pichirre, on the contrary, if it is necessary to share what I have saved with someone who is going through difficult problems and needs it, I give it away, what good does it do to have money saved if there are people next to us going through work, needing help even to eat?

Desde muy joven he trabajado, para no depender de nadie, ni ser una carga para nadie, saqué mis estudios con mucho esfuerzo, gracias a mis ahorros y la ganancia de mi trabajo.

Fui consiguiendo bienes con mucho esfuerzo, y tengo la satisfacción de haber ayudado a mis hijos con todo lo que fui consiguiendo al pasar de los años.

Es lamentable el momento que vivimos en nuestro país, una gran crisis económica, hablar de ahorrar en este país es casi que imposible, ya adquirir un bien es más difícil que “matar un burro a pellizco” como dice un dicho muy popular.

Aunque sea imposible ahorrar en nuestro país, porque cuando uno empieza a reunir algo, se va la luz y se quema la nevera, se solventa la nevera, se empieza a reunir y se daña el carro, se arregla el carro, se vuelve a intentar reunir y se empieza a filtrar el techo de la casa, en fin, son tantas las necesidades que vivimos, que vamos tapando huequitos y huequitos, rellenando por un lado y se abre otro hueco, pero “Así son las cosas”, como decía Oscar Yánez, lo importante es seguir, no desmayar.

Yo nunca he perdido la esperanza, la diferencia la hace uno mismo con la actitud que vivamos la vida, por eso le doy gracias a Dios cada día, primeramente por la vida, por mi familia, por todo lo que me ha dado, por tener salud y poder seguir “echándole ganas a la vida”. También le doy gracias a Dios, por haber llegado a #Hive; yo respondo esa pregunta: ¿Quién ahorra en este tiempo?, “Yo”, aunque parezca imposible, no lo es, granito a granito, puedo ahorrar gracias a #Hive, a todo mi esfuerzo y trabajo en esta plataforma.

En #Hive lo podemos hacer, en #Hive hemos podido adquirir bienes con ese ahorro, poder ahorrar en #Hive es parte de nuestro trabajo, ya es parte de nuestra vida, es esa lucha constante, esa gota a gota, que pueden llenar un pote, de la cual puede darnos de beber en momentos de necesidad. Esos ahorro me han servido para mis gastos médicos, para los gastos médicos de mi mamá y mi papá, he podido comprarle regalos a mis nietos, he podido ir a excursiones, en fin, no ha sido fácil todo este caminar en #Hive, pero todo esfuerzo es recompensado.

Ahora toca a mi puerta esa incomodidad de no tener la salud completa, vendo mis prendas, hago venta de garaje, estoy pensando comprarme un apartamento, para qué una casa tan grande. Siempre he sido de las personas que prefiero pagar intereses al recibir préstamos, reconociendo el trabajo de personas que me apoyan en momentos como este.
