My Silver Coin Collection: The Dutch Royal Family.

I want to show you part of my Silver Coin Collection.
I do love to collect beautiful things and Silver is one part of it I collected over the years.
Last year I started with Crypto and stocks to build my portfolio for the long term.
I also have some investments in new companies around the world and I am adding to my art collection bit by bit. In the form of original paintings, drawings and limited art prints.
The Silver part of my collection I gathered over the years and I will pick it up more now.

Today I want to show you part of my Silver collection.
These are Silver coins from The Netherlands.
To be precise from the royal family. Most are around 20 years old already.
Here a little compilation where I put the back and fronts of them in one photo.

Queen Emma Coin

Queen Emma (1858 - 1934)
Queen Emma is not so much known as the wife of King Willem Ill, whom she married on January 7, 1879. Rather she lives continued as the mother of Wilhelmina and as Queen Regent who took the honours over in 1890 to 1898 for her daughter. At that time she knew the image of the royal family, as it lived among the Dutch population, would completely change. Adelheid Emma Wilhelmina Theresia van Waldeck-Pyrmont, born on August 2 in Arolsen, married at the age of 20 to the more than 40 years older widower. From this marriage Wilhelmina was born on 31 August 1880. After she knew about the death of Willem Ill, she conquered through her amiable and sensible behaviour everyone's heart in her role as queen regent. Together with her daughter she traveled through town and country, to let the population get acquainted with the future princess. After Wilhelmina was inaugurated in 1898, she largely withdrew, but remained very active in all kinds of charitable work. Less well known is that she liked to paint, specializing in flowers.

Marriage Coin Prins Willem-Alexander and Máxima Zorreguieta. He is now the King of The Netherlands.

After Queen Beatrix announced the engagement on Friday 30 March 2001 of Prince Willem-Alexander and Máxima Zorreguieta, in the autumn of that same year, the introductory tour through the Netherlands followed. This way the Dutch people were able to get acquainted with the new Princess of the Netherlands. The wedding of Prince Willem-Alexander and Máxima Zorrequieta was on 2 February 2002. The civil wedding took place in the Beurs van Berlage and was solemnised by the mayor of Amsterdam. Moments later, the church consecration. The wedding took place in the Nieuwe Kerk aan de Dam in Amsterdam. From this date, Máxima Zorreguieta is also a member of the royal family and the titles Princess of the Netherlands and Princess of Orange-Nassau granted. Máxima will remain Catholic for the time being, but she would like the time to make a choice out of her own conviction, should she in the future convert to the Protestant faith.
