Wednesday Walk, Make Me Smile and Witnessing a Miracle (Totally worth it!)

(Edited)

Today was a lot of walking, but it was still worth all the trouble .

It’s the most important day for dad; it’s specimen review day and Cancer marker weekly data gathering test results day.

So much so , I think today is also many patient’s important day too; because despite of the early appointment, I couldn’t find the usual free parking space and I had to walk half a mile out of the hospital to park at a commercial parking area and pay for a dollar .

The hospital tried to get another free open space parking ready but there seemed to be some errors on the parking allocating and there weren’t any approval from the local authorities, and this could be really frustrating too.

Moreover while I was busy rounding for a parking, dad fell down. 😕

I am just grateful the police who were on duty there rushed over to help him and tried to stop the bleeding.

Even though we had to wait due to overly populated out patients resulting our appointment was an hour late...

it was still worth it!

That’s cancer marker went from 16 PSA during initial test, to 12.47 PSA before surgery during hormonal therapy, to 0.03 PSA from the weekly test.

To top up dad’s smile, the Prostate gland that was removed by the doctors tested after the surgery, THERE WAS NO TRACE OF CANCER.

The good surgeon who took good care of my dad was baffled, but dad and I came to a conclusion together.

Jesus did it!

Not ashamed to admit this is miraculous. Because this can almost be impossible. Everyone in the #teammalaysia community and the HIVE community who knew me long enough knew I'm a Jesus freak. haha

He took it away right before the surgery !

We prayed a day earlier right before the surgery and we gave everything to God. Dad shared to the rest of the family he has nothing else to loose but to just trust and go forth.

I’m sure he’ll share more on his own account later, but like it or not, it warms my heart when dad reflected and said on our way home, “HE does take care of me. Now I have no reason not to trust Psalms 91”

However tired my walk was, rounding up 1 mile to and fro to get my car, all worth it!
