THE COOLING EFFECT

Throughout this week, it has been raining here, which is not surprising because September is meant to be a rainy season. I remember when my mother said “Ha, this rain is too much oo” and she would also say “This heat is too much” during the dry season. So in other words, humans can never be satisfied.

It is quite hard for me to choose between the rainy season and the dry season because both season has their good and bad side. Although, I find it hard to choose but I would go with the rainy season. You are probably asking why, _{I will tell you why.}

One main reason I love the rainy season is because of the sensation it gives me, the feeling is always pleasing to me. I know it might be weird but I enjoy covering my body with a blanket while feeling the cooling effect under it. I love cold weather, it gives me pleasing cold. In that season, I get to wear my baggy clothes that I love.

Another thing I love about the rainy season is that I won’t be roasted in the hot sun. I don’t know if there is anyone that loves hot sun, but not me. I know we get vitamin D from the morning sun, but I easily get dizzy when I spend too much time in the sun, and I also get headaches.

During the dry season, they are usually too much heat, this heat at some point can make me so touchy, and I usually don’t get comfortable at all. In fact, any small thing annoys me even my body starts itching and I can’t really focus on anything else until I get home to shower, and after some time it continues. The annoying part is that we don’t have 24/7 electricity that I might put on the fan 24/7.

Most people might likely fall sick during the rainy season, but I don’t usually fall sick during the rainy season, although the rainy season is usually prone to a lot of mosquitoes, insects, or animals (that are not pleasing). During the dry season, the air is usually filled up and hard to breathe which makes my nasal passages so dry but during the rainy season, the air is usually easy to breathe and free from pollutants.

Lastly, during the rainy season, foods are also cheap not all foods though but vegetables and fruit are cheap and abundant.

Honestly, there are a lot of disadvantages of the rainy season like unexpected rain which can be frustrating, when you plan your day and rain just decides to plan the day with you, haha.

Although We all have our preferences, and you might prefer the dry season, even though it is very hard for me to choose between the rainy and dry seasons, one big reason that would beat the dry season is the cooling effect and fresh air that you get from rainy season. _{Oh my God, it is so good.}
